Niyama Private Islands Maldives

We didn’t have the best first impression. We’re quite familiar with airport arrival procedures, and although we asked about the transfer a day before arrival, we only received flight details without clear instructions on the meeting point. So, we assumed we could proceed on our own. However, during flight check-in, we were told to wait for the airport representative. While that was fine, the initial interaction with Maf felt a bit unpleasant. That said, the rest of the stay improved significantly. Yagu, who received us at Kudavadhoo Airport, was friendly and attentive. Our thakuru, Aly, was laid-back and helpful, giving great suggestions throughout our stay. Pablo from the dive center was very professional. We joined the complimentary house reef snorkeling every day at 10:30 am which we really enjoyed. The Blue Hole and coral nursery visits were also nice. it’s great to see efforts in reef restoration.🙂 Dipenda at Edge was welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend it for sunset drinks, great atmosphere and service. You can also visit the underwater Subsix restaurant which was also a unique and memorable experience. Dewa, the restaurant hostess, made us feel comfortable with her warm and friendly service. If you don’t meet Imran (the coconut guy), you’ll miss one of the highlights of Niyama! Aly kindly arranged for him to visit our villa, and we had the best coconut ever. His coconut show made our stay fun and memorable. A staff cycling around the island serving jelly was also a nice touch. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The only downside was leaving early due to transfer availability, but we’re glad we made the most of our time, especially with snorkeling. The food at Blu and Epicure was excellent. We had a food coma after every meal! Surf Shack also has great vibes for sunset. And my favorite? The coconut ice cream in the room 😘

An unforgettable night with DJ GUL! We had a fantastic time thanks to DJ GUL. His music selection was perfect, and he really knows how to read the crowd and keep the energy high all night. He's also always polite and helpful to the guests. Highly recommended!

We had our best trip ever. Niyama made our honeymoon even more special then we were expecting. Vlad, our bluter, was responsible for all of this. Vlad and Niyama thanks a ton.

We just wrapped up our stay at Niyama, and honestly, it was hard to leave. If you’re looking for a place that perfectly balances high-end luxury with a warm, laid-back vibe, this is it. The island is incredibly well-maintained, the neatness and the overall ambience are just stunning. We felt totally pampered from the moment we stepped off the seaplane. The staff is what really makes this place special. Shafeeg, our Takuru, was a total superstar. He was always one step ahead of us, making sure every detail of our stay was seamless and stress-free. We also have to give a shout-out to Imran, he was as sweet as the coconuts he served and so affectionate with our family. And Tirupati, the sommelier, really knows his stuff; his wine recommendations made our dinners even better. The food quality across the board was top-notch. The only tiny "heads up" I’d give is that the buffet pricing for lunch and dinner is quite steep. It was a little disappointing to be charged the full buffet rate even when we just wanted to order a couple of things à la carte, so I’d love to see a bit more flexibility there. But honestly? That’s a small detail in an otherwise perfect trip. Most importantly, my daughter loved everyone she met. The way the team interacted with her was so heartening to see. It’s a beautiful spot for families, and we’re leaving with some of our favorite memories yet. We’ll definitely be back!
