Failure to refund after being charged twice
I went for lunch with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our food took about an hour to arrive, despite being told it would take 25 minutes. The bigger issue came when paying the bill. My M-Pesa payment failed three times due to poor internet connection, so I eventually paid by card. As we were leaving, I realised the M-Pesa transaction had actually gone through, meaning I had paid twice. I returned to request a refund, but I was initially told they don’t do refunds and that we should instead use the extra amount to order more food, which we declined. I was then referred to the F&B manager, Arun, who assured me that my refund would be processed by the end of the day. It has now been over a month, and I still haven’t received my money. I have followed up with Arun repeatedly, but he has continued to give me false assurances and take me around in circles. I feel I have been deliberately strung along for over a month, with promises being made simply to delay resolving the issue.

Great stay at Diani Reef!
The rooms were spacious enough and very clean. Excellent service from all staff. Check in and check out experience was seamless. The loaction is great! Near the Ukunda airport, carrefour supermarket and several restaurants.

Super vacation in Kenya, Diani!
Diani Reef resort and Spa is a great hotel. Very beautiful. Staff is kind. Service is excellent. Rooms are clean and also were cleaned daily. Only nature sounds. No noise despite renovating. Value 5 star. Location for 10
