Angelic Stay

Wonderful dining area! Our room was lovely and very peaceful. There was a beautiful pool and the staff was friendly and helpful. The view was beyond compare and the restaurant had delicious food and the included breakfast was delicious. We would certainly wish to return.

Room for improvement. Good and bad points!

I'll comment on the best parts of staying here first. The 100% gluten free food is amazing! As I need a gluten free diet I was in heaven. My husband isn't and wondered if he'd like it -he loved it! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool is great too. Now onto the parts that could be improved. The pillows are uncomfortable and need to be replaced to allow a better sleep. The hotel should invest in new towels too. I think they've been washed too many times now. The hotel is located close to a noisy road, but thankfully our room was on the other side of the hotel and didn't affect us. If you want a hotel where you can walk to somewhere, don't book here. There's nowhere to go. If you've got a car or have transport booked it's fine. Yes the pool was good and we enjoyed using it, but the loungers aren't so good. Please invest in new ones as they're so uncomfortable. Also there's only 6 available. We asked if any more could be supplied as they said they couldn't.

Go for a meal not for a night

The restaurant is the best thing about this place. The Good: -Restaurant and servers especially Carla and Andres. -Being celiac the 100% gluten free menu was a treat! It was nice to be able to look at the menu and order anything. Even my partner who isn't celiac said the food was very good. -Reception staff and housekeepers were friendly and did a good job cleaning. -The views -Clean pool The Bad: -Manager was not accommodating and rude. -Was sent a link via WhatsApp the next day to pay for a drink they forgot to charge me for the previous night. I've never experience this before. -If your not in your room by 10 you have someone watching over you like a criminal (some may feel this could be a good thing for safety but that wasn't our take on it) -Air conditioning in the room didn't work great, we asked for it to be fixed twice and there was almost no effort into looking into it. It never improved, and there is no blanket given on the bed, possibly suggesting this might not be entirely out of the norm? -The couch is anything but comfortable -The bed is average (we personally didn't sleep well on the bed) -The pool was smaller in person than it appeared in the photos, but was a decent little pool. However, there were only 6 lounge chairs which are typically taken at the beginning of the day so we ended up sitting on foldable plastic table chairs by the pool. Personal preference items we didn't like: -All areas were very dimly lite. It didn't feel very inviting. -Decor seemed outdated We didn't try the spa but heard good things about it.

Absolutely love this hotel. The concierge are amazing, we went into dominical for sushi and to walk around and we what’s app the front desk to send a taxi for us to return which I really appreciated. Over the moon helpful and the rooms AC is ice cold. We had massages and I swam in the pool every day as a cool break from our hiking adventures. Close to Nayauca Falls and a short drive to the coast where we enjoyed snorkeling. I definitely recommend. The hotel restaurant is delicious as well we breakfast and dinner there. They are fantastic I will definitely return the next time I’m in dominical.

A comfortable and welcoming little hotel with lovely surroundings, comfortable rooms and a great infinity pool.

A lovely little hotel, full of character, with comfortable, well equipped rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. The only downside was that where some of the meals were outstanding, others were heavily over-salted, making them inedible; an easy fix, I hope.
