Reviews for One&Only Royal Mirage
Alert - of course, in Dubai everything is ridiculously expensive & this place isn't cheap. Dubai is a rich person's playground; don't come if you can't afford it, we were borderline. I really liked the hotel, on the beach, close to a tram station which took you to the marina and the metro. It is also a short cab ride from several nice golf courses. There were several restaurant options and nice bars (some in sister hotels close by). The pool area and beach are great. The rooms are very comfortable too. Our room wasn't one of the higher grade rooms eg a suite, but we wanted for nothing. Best of all was the service. The staff there were superb, especially the reception staff & our room attendant.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed a return week break in Arabian Court in Feb 2018. The rooms, food , exterior including pools and garden were excellent. The staff were as expected very attentive helpful and the management were to be complimented on their visible presence , interaction and socialisation with the clients. The ability to use the facilities in the Oand O Palace was also very rewarding particularly relating to the cuisine options.

We were greeted by a warm, friendly welcome as we entered the porter stopped and picked up a mallet and hit a gong... he said it was to clear the way for important officials entering. (Us!) We were then seated in a beautifully decorated lobby, were Alex greeted us and told us about the hotel and restaurants. We were then showed to our room, which was breathtaking.... The decor was excellent calming and inviting, as you can see from the photos... The views from the balcony were just amazing. The service was next to none. Attention to detail, the staff were all absolutely fantastic, faultless........ The Restaurant were also very helpful. Me and my partner are vegetarians, so it’s normally quite difficult to find anything to eat, but again the chefs were very accommodating they pulled out all the stops.. especially in Nina’s the Indian restaurant. We will definitely come back to the One & Only Arabian Court, also will be recommending to family and friends too. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable..... Sandy & Jazz.
A break coming back from New Zealand to see family. An excellent stay. Good breakfasts. Several restaurants to choose from. My travel agent booked 1/2 board, which included a buffet dinner in the evening. As we were only there for 2 nights we paid additionally for a special dinner 1 night. Quite expensive for drinks etc but it is a super hotel and the service excellent.

I was expecting the be blown away by the O&O - and I was on most levels. But importantly, not in two regards. First, the good bits - service & housekeeping are top-notch. The grounds are extensive and absolutely beautiful. The pools are large with lots of sun beds and didn't get over-crowded while we were there. The bars and restaurant venues are almost without exception, delightful and imaginatively designed spaces. However, the rooms are now starting to feel dated and the bathrooms, while perfectly adequate, are a little cramped. The major issue for me, however, was the food. It all seemed to be prepared with good quality, fresh ingredients and was generally well cooked - however, it generally lacked seasoning and we were generally left very underwhelmed. Having now stayed in the O&O and Waldorf we remain of the opinion that, overall, Jumeirah hotels are the best we've stayed at in Dubai - they do tend to be a little more expensive though.
