A Unique Hotel
This hotel, built around 1998, must be almost unique in Dubai as it has a colonial style rather than the steel, concrete and glass construction of virtually all other buildings. It was a delight to be surrounded by such style. Our Ocean View Room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with an amazing view . The long private beach and very extensive gardens and pools enhance the overall impression. The numerous restaurants and bars all have their individual characters and menu themes. The most impressive feature of all for us was the number, quality and attentiveness of the staff - nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent hotel. Food is amazing, staff are another level, the club level garden room was beautiful, and the bath for me was heaven. Bryan on front desk was just so incredible helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was ever to much trouble. Kamal on the beach just couldn’t do enough for you. All breakfast staff were amazing. A big shout out to Alamin and his team. Alamin was our cleaner and he was the sweetest man I think I have ever met. So gracious. Our room was spotless every day and evening after turndown. A big thank you to all staff at this hotel and sorry for not naming you all, but I can honestly say all staff were truly amazing. Well done and thank you for a great 9 days

Ok - but a bit tired
The hotel is a bit tired - the bathroom facilities weren’t great - no pressure in the shower, the toilet didn’t flush well etc. the staff were friendly

It was nice to come back, everyone was so cordial. Thank you Alice from splendido for enlightening us about the Italian restaurant.
