The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

Me and my wife had 10 fantastic nights in a deluxe garden view room.We had a night flight which got us to the Hotel at 10am and within an hour we had checked in.The room was very spacious and very clean.They had a fantastic spa which we used everyday after coming off the beach.All the staff were so kind helpful and anything we wanted was met to our satisfactory.The location of this hotel is exactly where you would want it to be right near the JBR and marina which were lovely walks especially after dinner.The dinners were so nice.Our favourite was Blue jade(asian)which we went to three times.The italian restaurant was lovely to sit outside and the food was lovely.The hotel reminds me a little of Raffles in Singapore and we love it theres only 6 floors.We went January 26th for 10 nights and the weather was lovely.No rain clear skies everyday 25c and lovely and cool and night but still warm enough to have just a shirt on.This was my first time to Dubai and wont be my last.

Honestly could not recommend this hotel more...it exudes hospitality. We have stayed in a lot of hotels in Dubai and we've found this the friendliest...the staff are so lovely and the kindest people..nothing is too much trouble, from the concierge on arrival, reception, Club Lounge staff, guys around the pool, cleaners. Our room was a Club on 4th floor, it was absolutely pristine and special thanks to Behera and Vinod who cleaned it daily and did the turn down service. Excellent toiletries and products provided also. Restaurants were 10/10, we dined at Club Lounge, Amaseena ( special mention to Zayn and Ru), Splendido and Blue Jade....all were perfect, no issues with reservations and staff so warm and friendly. This hotel exudes old style class and we cannot wait to return!

This was our first time staying at a Ritz Carlton and it will not be our last. The hotel lives up to its reputation in every way. We chose the Ritz due to its sprawling gardens and low rise building looking out onto its own private beach. When you enter the Ritz, you are greeted by this beautiful, elegant and subtle smell - like frankincense mixed with roses. The lobby has a spectacular view down to the beach and it’s decorated in a traditional style with warm tones. Michael and Shubhman on the front desk were incredibly helpful and very chatty with our little boy. We arrived mid-morning but they kindly called House Keeping to see if they could get our room ready quickly, offering us the spa facilities in the meantime. The room was ready within the hour! Ben on the concierge desk was very helpful in assisting us with taxi calls, restaurant reservations and local recommendations- he also remembered our activities day-to-day, striking up conversations with us. Everything felt very personal! Waseem at the front door was hilarious and should start his own daycare! We had an issue with getting a taxi booked due to the child seat and our little one eventually ended up having a boredom induced meltdown. Whilst Guateman very kindly tried to sort everything out for us, and spoke with providers on the phone, Waseem took our little boy on a tour of the gardens and back office, introducing him like a celebrity to everyone! Big thank you as well to Rohit who raced down to get our luggage from the room when our taxi arrived early! The rooms are HUGE and in a traditional style - not modern and glitzy. We booked a Deluxe King with a Garden view, and requested a quiet spot on the ground floor with access to the gardens from the room. The bathrooms look brand new, and everything was functioning. I would like to say a massive thank you to the wonderful Sachith, Jagadees and Herbert in House Keeping who looked after us during our stay. They noticed the little things, like I had left my book on the nightstand open on a page, and they left me a bookmark for it. They also placed ornate towel animals next to my baby’s cot for him to see. They must have also been keeping an eye on restaurant reservations as we left the room for dinner, forgot something, ran back and they had just finished turning down the room! The Gardens are diligently tended to throughout the day by the Landscaping team who have created what I can only call a tranquil oasis in the Skyscraper metropolis. There are birds singing and flying about all day, whilst the Ritz have a Falcon at breakfast to stop any winged thieving! My one year old loved meeting Texas the Falcon! The resort is well insulated from the noise of the surrounding hotels and construction - it’s completely undisturbed. The security guards, Francis and Edwin, do not miss a thing. They observed all comings and goings with eagle eyes and a huge smile! They noticed if the Ritz team weren’t wearing their name badges, if someone was approaching with a buggy/wheelchair and needed a door held and if something was hanging loose on your person. They were very diligent but also friendly. Equally, the lifeguards were just as professional. They constantly followed the swimmers at a distance so as not to hover but still ensure constant vigilance of the pool area. The silent communication between the lifeguards was very impressive. I’ve left reviews for Amaseena, La Bai and Splendido but Caravan (breakfast) deserves a massive shout out! Thank you to Martha, Ivan, Carlos, Hnin and Lisa for looking after us and spoiling our little boy with attention. Every morning was a joy because of your sunny, warm welcomes, and you made us feel very relaxed no matter how busy the restaurant was. Ritz Carlton Dubai… you are exceptional. Thank you for the most relaxing and luxurious stay, as well as your kindness to our little one!

The food and service was excellent! Sai was a champion who took care of us during the entire time! Would definitely come back soon.
