The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

Excellent trip - this was our first holiday since our 6 month child was born. The level of service exceeded expectations. They made everything incredibly easy with our baby, arranging things like cot, steriliser, baby bath. We had a club room and access to the club lounge, which is a formal but informal space at the same time, and useful for the young one. The restaurants are plentiful and varied. The staff fantastic - special mentions to Pan, Hairah, Darwin and Brian from the club lounge. They were outstanding.

Unfortunately, our experience at the sports club was not good. I went with my sister to register our three children, and we waited for more than 30 minutes. When the staff member came and I started speaking to her, another person arrived and she assisted him before us. We felt this was unfair and unprofessional, so we asked to speak to the manager. We hope the management will improve customer service

This hotel offers outstanding service and a truly high level of quality. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff is professional, attentive, and always willing to help. The facilities are well maintained, the atmosphere is comfortable, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. A wonderful experience in every way. Highly recommended.

I was so very disappointed with this hotel. Pros: Most of the staff go above and beyond. They are very personal with remembering you name and are very helpful. Restaurant staff amazing as are pool staff and housekeeping. The reception team let themselves down. They are not the best and generally are a bit sour. Cons: They have a beautiful outdoor area but apart from the beach, the whole of the pool is pretty much shaded due to the very tall double hotel tower next door. Whilst the pool is climatised, it was far colder than any other pool I have been to in a Dubai hotel. The heaters do not circulate the warmth and the pool has big cold and hot spots. The rooms are a nice size, but you must ask to stay in a deluxe room as the standard rooms are very shabby.

We spent the day on the spacation and it was fantastic! The staff are so kind and attentive and the spa treatment and lunch at la Baie was delicious
