The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai

Recently stayed here for 7 nights in club ocean room. Absolutely fantastic room with extremely comfortable king size bed, bathroom huge with bath, walk in shower, 2 sinks and lovely amenities. Only thing I would say negatively is the shower was lacking power. Balcony overlooking pool area and beach but only got the sun for approx 1 hour in the afternoon. Room attendant was fantastic and would greet us warmly every time we met him and room was immaculate. Hotel is really well located with lovely walk to the marina and plenty of restaurants, shops in the area. As the area has been developed so much over the last few years and the buildings are so tall they block the sun from around the pool area. We found we had a few periods of time in the shade when the sun went behind the buildings. Only went to the one pool during the day so can’t comment on others but when we walked around the gardens etc it seemed most had shaded parts. Having said that the pool area was lovely and very quiet. There is some construction work around the area but the noise didn’t bother us. Pool attendants were extremely friendly and polite putting towels on bed and leaving water, came round with iced tea and fruit kebabs and ice lollies. Sun beds are extremely comfortable. We had the use of the club lounge which was fantastic. Breakfast choices were great with buffet options as well as a menu to choose freshly cooked items. Lunch time light menu, wow this was amazing with hot food and salads, desserts, cheese. Afternoon tea on an afternoon followed by evening food, which again had hot buffet choices, soup, salads, desserts, cheese. Changed daily and over 7 days we did not have a repeat of meals. Drinks available until 10pm. We did not need use any restaurants as food in lounge was fantastic. All staff in the lounge are amazing and I have not named anyone particularly as don’t want to miss anyone as they all deserve credit for what they do.

His professionalism, leadership, and attention to detail were evident throughout the event. He managed the banquet operations seamlessly, ensured timely service, and coordinated his team efficiently to maintain high service standards. His proactive approach and calm handling of guest requirements contributed significantly to the overall success and elegance of the evening. The event ran smoothly under his supervision, leaving a very positive impression on all attendees.

we loved the grounds and restaurant tomako. Every staff member in house keeping, pool and restaurants were excellent. Special mentions to Andy at breakfast and Lance at the pool!

Stayed at this hotel 21-27 september 2025 , the hotel was excellent , however during our stay the private beach was un usable due to heavy plant machinery , lorries and cranes driving up and down it all day , causing noise , smells and not very pleasing on the eye making it unusable . Technically it was partially open but due to the above there was not a soul on it . I understand work is ongoing in dubai , but when hotels are aware in advance given the thousands of pounds customers are paying for a relaxing experience , they should be given the option of changing hotels either before travelling or whilst in resort , very disappointing really .

The location of the hotel is really good. On the jbr walk and the Dubai marina. The rooms are spacious and really well maintained. The cleaning was done by two amazing guys, Beheral and Vinod. They went above and beyond especially with cleaning, asking us if we need anything extra and Ofcourse the nice surprises for our children. Furthermore, the hotel is not too big but therefore the service and staff are really personal. They know who you are and you feel really valued as a guest.
