Just returned home after an incredible 8 nights at The Ritz-Carlton, and honestly, I’m not sure there are enough words to truly capture just how special this hotel is. ✨ We stayed in a Club Garden Room on a half-board basis, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt effortlessly luxurious. The Club Lounge was a particular highlight — beautiful surroundings, exceptional service, delicious food and an impressive selection of drinks. The only slight disappointment was that breakfast is currently not being served in the lounge, although the Caravan restaurant more than makes up for it. A very special thank you to Khun and Rittu, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. They remembered our usual drinks orders, always took the time to have a little chat with us and genuinely cared about how our day and holiday were going. Those personal touches make such a difference and are exactly what you hope for from a Ritz-Carlton experience. 🤍 When it came to dining, the main restaurant we had been particularly excited to experience, Ameeze, was unfortunately closed during our stay. The Italian restaurant, however, was absolutely exceptional and easily took the top spot for me. The food was wonderful, but once again it was the service that really elevated the experience. We had also heard so many wonderful things about Blue Jade, so perhaps our expectations were simply too high. The food was certainly delicious, but unfortunately it didn’t quite give us that wow factor we were expecting. We felt similarly about the Latin/American restaurant — enjoyable, but not quite as memorable as some of the other dining experiences. One of the things that truly sets The Ritz-Carlton apart, however, is the pool experience and the incredible team behind it. From our very first day, we were looked after by Ram Ran, who somehow always seemed to be there whenever we needed anything. Whether it was keeping us hydrated, making sure we had enough towels or simply checking in on us with genuine kindness, his service was next level. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and his attention to detail made our pool days feel incredibly special. A huge thank you also to Haresh, who surprised us with a beautiful mocktail on our final day and wished us safe travels. Again, it’s those seemingly small gestures that stay with you and make a luxury holiday feel truly personal. 🥂 We also spent one day at the adults-only pool, which was the perfect little escape. Beautiful daybeds, incredibly comfortable pillows, a swim-up pool bar and even a TV showing the latest football — honestly, what more could you want? The pristine pools and exceptionally comfortable sunbeds were definitely another major highlight. Our room was on the 4th floor, where we were incredibly lucky to have Talib and Vinod looking after us. They kept our room absolutely immaculate throughout our stay, ensuring everything was replenished without us ever needing to ask. And then there were the towel animals… 🦁🐘🦢 By the end of the week, we had practically accumulated an entire zoo! Their creativity and attention to detail were incredible and became such a lovely little part of our stay. On our final day, we exchanged thank-you notes and were so touched to return to our room to find a beautiful red rose waiting for us. Such a simple, thoughtful gesture, but one that we will remember for a very long time. 🌹 Ultimately, it’s not just the beautiful rooms, immaculate grounds, stunning pools or incredible dining that makes The Ritz-Carlton so special. It’s the people. Every single person we encountered — from the bell team and security, to the concierge, Club Lounge team, restaurant staff, pool attendants and everyone in between — made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. There is a level of service here that is difficult to put into words. It’s warm, attentive and incredibly personal without ever feeling intrusive. Every detail is considered, every interaction feels sincere, and somehow the entire team makes you feel as though your holiday truly matters to them. I’m leaving with a very full heart and the most beautiful memories from an unforgettable 8 nights. The Ritz-Carlton has certainly left its mark on us, and I already know this won’t be our last visit. 🤍✨ Thank you to every single member of the Ritz-Carlton family who made our stay so extraordinary. It was absolutely incredible. The servers were super nice and treated us like family especially Evy. She shares stories with us that are really interesting and fascinating. Evy to us feels like family. This will be the same for all the servers too. All of the staff did something for my anniversary they had prepared flowers, letters, lanterns and even a paper placement with congratulations. They even put some additional things on the house. This was such an amazing experience I will always come back here.
