From start to finish this was a sensory delight . Service, accommodation, facilities , cuisine, setting. All contributed to a fantastic experience. We will book more spa pampering in advance the next time as it was very busy. We shall definitely return again.

Receptionist didn't understand the meaning of valet parking which left us having to park our own car then walk across the muddy grass, room was in the basement and with keys that continuously malfunctioning that was abit of a pain going back n forth to reception. The room although beautiful was extremely cold, we were advised the heating was broken.. not sure that's acceptable of a 5* hotel. The saving grace of this place was the Spa and the Dining experience. We had lovely treatments and very relaxing and the food was amazing in the Boathouse.. lovely staff! Overall I'd recommend a day visit or a place to come have a special meal but as for the hotel it's very fancy for not much substance

Good visit as usual. Rooms great, service great. Carrick spa was a bit disappointing this time. We done the sea plane and can’t recommend enough. Scenery was incredible. Food was great. Cameron grill wasn’t. Very good.

Great birthday treat, love the refurbishment, especially the outdoor area in the great scots bar. Breakfast was fantastic! Managed to get booked on the seaplane and we were very lucky with the weather- would recommend the seaplane if you get the chance.

By now I think they must have 120-150 rooms; there are teeming masses instead of genteel and learned guests. Dirty glasses in the mini bar, hidden bottle opener in sugar dish, stressed breakfast crew, unlikely to return.
