A beautiful hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond with large grounds offering great walks as well a a swimming pool for children and adults alike. The concierge team afforded a warm welcome which was continued throughout the hotel by all the staff. - the reception team; the dining team; the breakfast team. The hotel shop is well stocked with many lovely items at affordable prices. The Spa facilities where many treatments are offered are a few miles from the main hotel and include an outdoor rooftop pool. These are easily accessed with the provision of the hote courtesy shuttle. A great relaxing few days which I hope to repeat soon.

The hotel itself and location are lovely. On arrival we were greeted by Chris who was lovely and sorted our luggage and parked our car. The ladies on reception were really friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately that is where the 5 star experience ended. We went for a lovely walk and went to the Tavern for a drink. The Tavern wasn’t busy but the service was incredibly slow and we had to wait 20 minutes for 2 drinks with a reminder in between. We had dinner booked at Cameron grill at 8.30, we dined with another couple who were also staying at the hotel. We ordered 4 fillet steaks (which were delicious), however they took 1 hour to arrive! Again we had to ask the staff where our order was. The restaurant wasn’t very busy. The hotel itself is lovely but the service received by the restaurant staff needs looking at and doesn’t reflect a 5 star hotel

Had the best time, Angela and the turndown team made it extra special! Also Charlie in the tavern was amazing! Will definitely be back due to these people!

My parter surprised me with a spa day for my birthday, I’ve always wanted to go to Cameron house as the pictures look amazing. However - Roof top sauna was cold they were having issues regulating the temperature. A lady in changing room warned me about this but I went to see for myself & I didn’t last more than 2 minutes. The same with another couple who came in with us. This should be told to customers before booking. Or even told at reception. Then we went to heat up inside and 2 of the saunas were out of use which then meant the ones that were working were too busy. I felt a few areas could be doing with freshen. This to me was not a five star experience compared to some other spas I have been to in the past. It didn’t live up to the hype. There was no warning that saunas were out of use- the middle thing was out of use, and rooftop was freezing. I wouldn’t have wanted to go had I known this. And the girl who did my treatment spoke through the whole treatment. I would book other five star spas, don’t think I will ever return to Cameron house sadly.

This hotel has an impressive entrance façade and lovely view of Loch Lomond. Beyond that, there's little to set it apart from other mid-range hotels, a la Holiday Inn. Few smiles or engagement from the staff, very average rooms, a chaotic breakfast buffet with sub par food, cappuccino orders that were never delivered, etc. Most disappointing was the thumping bass from a wedding party several floors below us, which went on until nearly midnight on our last night. Although I visited and called reception several times, I only received vague promises of action to no effect. One exception to our otherwise mediocre stay: a young man working in the Great Scots' Bar was very friendly and welcoming, even giving me a mini course on the nuances of different whiskeys from the local region. I should have asked for his name but failed to do so. He was working on the evening of December 27th and rocked an impressive mullet. Thank you, kind sir!
