The Best Quality Stay EVER

Cameron House 5* luxury Bought for me as a 60th birthday gift from our wonderful daughter and son in law. Where do I start... From the moment we entered the amazing grounds to leaving after the best breakfast I've ever had, it was pure luxury. Some highlights: The concierge gentlemen that greeted us at the door were just brilliant, they took our luggage then parked our car and were very friendly and jovial, nothing too much trouble. I did feel awful for one of the concierge chaps and a member of reception who were getting a right dressing down by this vile American woman who thought it's OK to speak to the fantastic staff like crap, what a horrible woman!!! Went to our stunning room which was beautifully decorated and had Jo Alone toiletries which are on another level. Coffee machine with pods, teas, hot chocolate, biscuits, a bite of milk in the fridge plus 2 bottles of water a safe, 3 different types of drinking glasses. The food - mom, nom, nom. We are lunch in the club house at the spa, which was as fresh as fresh could be. The spa - massive and loads of different options like sauna, hot tubs, steam room, outdoor jacuzzi, swim pool, the list goes on. You get towels, a bath robe and flip flops to use, and you also get a free taxi to and from tge spa. Cameron Grill - it's not cheap but like everything you get what you pay for and we all absolutley loved the food and impeccable service. Breakfast - OMG, without doubt the best breakfast I've ever had in my life. The buffet breakfast was stunning with a huge choice of foods from bacon, sausage, potato cake, mushrooms, eggs any way you like, beans... The you can have anything you want from the menu such as eggs be edict, then fine cheeses, the yoghurts, granola, fruit juices a plenty a massive range of breads, palma ham a fantastic actual honeycomb to accompany yogurts etc and much more that I can't remember. And again the staff were absolutley amazing, nothing was ever a bother. From checking in and checking out th reception staff were polite, so professional and very caring. Last but not least this hotel and grounds sits on Loch Lomond with views literally to die for, with beautiful no Stunning walks. Would we return, what do you think!! We are already looking at date options. If you want/need a luxury treat look o further than Cameron House. Thank you all.

Overnight stay

Enjoyed a fantastic overnight stay at the Cameron House Hotel. We were looked after by the staff from the minute we arrived with a special mention to David Combe who was a great ambassador for the hotel and all it had to offer. David went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and our stay memorable.

Almost perfect!

My Wife, our little dog and I stayed here for our 25th Wedding anniversary after passing many times but never staying! The hotel is beautiful and despite a problem with the room we booked,(building issue), the hotel dealt with it most amazingly. The room ended up with was spacious and very well presented. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting with everything you could wish for. From the moment we arrived we were met by Robin and the rest of the concierge team and looked after. Keeley and Rebecca couldn’t do enough for us. The rest of the staff were equally amazing! So why a four star rating you may wonder? Well this hotel advertises that is it dog friendly when it is only dog tolerant! We got quite fed up being told where we couldn’t go! This little guy is our world and goes everywhere with us, he is well behaved and not a bit interested in what we or others eat so doesn’t mither one bit. We couldn’t have breakfast with him, we could only eat in the posh Witherspoons with him which was too loud (the bar). On the night of our 25th Wedding Anniversary they wanted to put us in this bar with no tables, no noise suppression and loads of noisy people and kids just because we wanted him with us! The dog tolerant restaurant (La Vista) was closed for an invisible refurbishment. We checked and no work we could see during our four days at the hotel. We ended up driving into Glasgow for an Anniversary meal in a fantastic restaurant with our little guy! We were only told La Vista was closed one week before our arrival, yes we would have gone to another hotel with more notice! Having breakfast on our own like Lepers in the lounge because we wouldn’t leave him in the room, stood us out from everyone else and felt very like we weren’t wanted! Great hotel, lovely staff but definitely not dog friendly by a long way! Would we visit again, definitely not, not being dog FRIENDLY spoilt what should have been a fantastic stay!

A truly wonderful stay!

My partner and I stayed for one night at Cameron House and it was a surreal experience. The property, facilities and overall atmosphere were exceptional throughout. However, what truly stood out was the service. A special thank you to John and Chris at concierge, Phillip at the bar, Jo and Martin on the Champagne Cruise, all of whom were professional, attentitve and welcoming. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made the stay especially memorable. It was a top tier experience and one we look forward to repeating in the near future. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing stay on Loch Lomond. PS John (concierge) was spot on "one night wasnt enough!!

Without Doubt My Favourite Place to Stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

staying at Cameron House on Loch Lomond is, without doubt, my most favourite place to stay. From the moment you arrive, there’s a real sense of tranquillity and understated luxury. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the whole place just carries such lovely, calming vibes throughout. At the same time, there’s a fun, relaxed atmosphere that makes it feel special without ever feeling formal or stuffy. The hotel itself is finished to an incredibly high standard, with beautiful attention to detail everywhere you look. Even something as simple as having a cup of tea in the lounge feels like a treat — the crockery, the surroundings, everything is just so thoughtfully done. The food is excellent, with a great standard across the board, and there’s so much to enjoy on site. Having its own cinema is such a unique touch, the pool is lovely, and the spa experience is truly amazing — especially the infinity pool. The main spa is just a short distance from the hotel, and guests benefit from a discount, which is a great added bonus. On another visit, I met a family member and we booked a spa package, which was fantastic value — around £50 for three hours of spa access followed by a two course meal. The food was absolutely lovely and it made the whole experience feel even more special. What really completes the experience is the staff — always polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which makes such a difference. This is the kind of place that completely takes you away from the stresses of everyday life. I absolutely love staying here and would return again and again without hesitation.
