I’m sorry to leave a review that differs so much from the others, but for double rooms priced between £350–£600 per night, I would expect an exceptional standard of cleanliness and comfort. Unfortunately, the bathroom grout was visibly dirty, and the bath itself appeared to have only been rinsed rather than properly cleaned. This became obvious when I ran my fingers along the surface before taking a bath; there was a noticeable grimy residue around the area where the previous waterline would have been from earlier guests. In addition, the noise insulation between rooms was extremely poor. We could hear the occupants above us walking around throughout the day and night due to the incredibly creaky floors, which made the stay quite unpleasant and far from relaxing. At this price point, I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect a deeper and more thorough clean, along with a more comfortable and peaceful environment. Perhaps the hotel could consider periodically taking rooms out of service for proper deep cleaning and maintenance. Regrettably, I have stayed in some Premier Inns with noticeably cleaner bathrooms and better sound insulation.

Our favorite hotel in Scotland! We visited for our wedding anniversary and my birthday and everything about our weekend stay was incredible. Sports bar excellent and chilled, our room was so fantastic we didn’t want to leave. Cameron grill the following evening and you just cannot top the Cameron House breakfast experience. It’s the best I’ve experienced, possibly the best start to a day you can have ! Staff always go above and beyond. Big thanks to the lovely gentleman who greet you and park the cars. They are one of my fave parts of our stay. We have met such lovely guys here. And a huge thanks to Caroline who is always going above and beyond at her job with the biggest smile on her face. Always a delight to catch up with her ❤️I cannot wait to return. Review a little late due to email access problem.. but I have not forgotten how wonderful our stay was and they deserve the best review.

I wanted to thank the Cameron House team for a truly wonderful memorable day to celebrate my brothers 80th birthday. Starting with the booking ,liaising with Caroline who was very customer focused and helpful thoughtful to our needs. Then on to the actual day - Beginning with a fantastic river cruise with captain Claudine and hosted by Hugh who was attentive, charming ,engaging and ensured our party of 4 had everything we wanted which made the trip👍, the concierge who collected us from the jetty and drove us to the house for afternoon Tea. The selection of food ,teas from a most interesting and unique menu were outstanding as was the taste 😋 which was totally exquisite and all this was eloquently explained and served to us by the delightful, very personable Trisha . To CJ who checked in with us to see how it was going and made sure we had all we needed. What a Team👏👏 they are all great ambassadors for brand Cameron House and you could tell they were proud to be so

Visited Cameron House for a special occasion afternoon tea. At £50 a head this is top end prices and sadly it didn't deliver a top end experience. Our waiter was very friendly but it felt like they were a bit short staffed and things just didn't work as smoothly as you might expect - we didn't have enough tea cups for everyone on the table and things took a long time to arrive. The sandwiches and savouries were just fine. The scones were nice but some of the clotted cream was frozen solid and had to be replaced. The cakes were nice enough without being particularly memorable. The setting is stunning but the overall experience needs to be better to justify the high price.

I am very disappointed with my recent visit to Cameron House, I found the quality of service to be extremely poor and the door staff be be obnoxious and very rude. I parked my car at the side away from any obstruction and was told (not asked) to move it despite there being 14 other vehicles being parked there. When I challenged this I was told that I did not own the hotel and until I did to park where I was told, so rude. A number of other guests were also insulted and when I walked away from the situation the doorman was determined to have the last word. I will never return to this so called hotel, and have shared this experience as I was shocked and disgusted!!!
