This was our first time back in four years, and it wasn’t as good as before. Cameron House is in a great spot on Loch Lomond and the views are lovely, but the stay was disappointing. The room wasn’t what we expected for the price. It felt old and not very clean or well kept — the carpet was dirty and the windows needed a good clean. It didn’t feel like good value. We were also let down by the very limited room service. For a hotel that calls itself luxury, the choices and availability didn’t seem right. Another problem was the number of dogs inside the hotel. Dogs were in indoor areas, and we don’t think dogs should be allowed inside a luxury hotel. Overall, the place looks nice, but four years ago it was much better than this. We’ve stayed at Gleneagles too, and found it to be a much better hotel for service, facilities, and quality.

Far from a 5 star experience -the room quality was ok -the hotel was very quiet but the cleaning staff seemed to make much noise in the corridors -the breakfast choice is varied but the the cooked full English quality was awful -the bacon especially was full of fat and white matter all over it !! This place could learn a lot from European 5 star resorts so for the price I’m afraid I would not be back or indeed recommend it to friends -Stunning location and loads to do in terms of activities but I’m afraid the hotel was a big disappointment

The resort is in areas matched to three star dining and spa predominately that is some staff and quality Furthermore if hadn’t the views and setting it wouldn’t be parallel to many other establishments After stays spanning 21 years our last one sadly ruined our christmas Wrong menus given to book off for christmas day Promises off contact not followed through restaurant manager Italian restaurant being given the incorrect chicken missed from a dish .Then given on side plate to mix into it by the diner. tendering the others diners with cold food The list is endless £3200 for inadequate service isn’t on Will not be returning

Thank you for making my surprise mini moon gift so special! Having stayed at Cameron house myself I booked a trip for my brother and his wife for a wedding present. The staff went above and beyond for their mini moon to ensure they had a perfect stay. The reception informed me that they were offering a complimentary upgrade to a loch view room. A card and champagne left in the room was a lovely touch too! Everything was perfect and it was very much appreciated.

A young lady who works at the Italian restaurant was incredibly rude to us, refusing to serve us without any justification. Over a thousand pounds spent for four of us to stay here for two nights. Deeply disappointed. Management did nothing to compensate. We will never return to this hotel, which is now a shadow of its former self.
