A wet august but a lovely location. Facilities were great but service at breakfast was not good, certainly not 5*, having to wait a good while for a table, having to flag down someone to take our order after we had been waiting for some time.

Lovely hotel but terrible front of house service, was given wrong room type after such specific selection criteria on website, reception not that helpful..rooms beautiful but not very clean.. dusty and hair on bathroom floor. However..Great spa, leisure facilities and restaurants and great service in these areas.

Superb hotel with the very best of service - breathtaking views, fantastic rooms (we stayed in 93 with a turret!!) and facilities, food of the highest order, very Scottish:-) and best of all the staff, friendliest and most attentive of any hotel I have ever stayed in - and I have stayed in a few!!

Still love the location of the hotel but sadly this trip for husband son birthday was a real let down: - long check in, 30mins check out - room not cleaned till after 3pm - upgraded room disapointing (expensive)

We had a wonderful welcome by the team in the front desk and concergie and the room and hotel facilities were just wonderful. The whisky bar is awesome and the location is great. It has several restaurants although we didn't know in advance, so we couldn't book a table but they looked worth trying. The breakfast buffet was also great and wifi worked at full speed. We loved it, and are looking forward to have the chance to visit it again.
