Cameron House on Loch Lomond

I’m lost for words how beautiful Cameron house is from day to night we attended burns night absolutely excellent

Entering Cameron House very welcoming and friendly , we decided to go for afternoon tea but when we asked we were told you had to book so we went gor the cream tea for 4 , cream tea was served but only 2 side plates we had to ask for another 2 no napkins we had to ask , bill came and it was wrong we had been charged for coffees individually instead of with the cream tea so im very sad to say what should hsve been a 5 star experience was at a push a 2 star , it wasn't busy, there were plenty of Staff , but for a 5 star establishment to say disappointing experience is an understatement, you need to get on your A game Cameron House .

What an amazing hotel!! From the moment we arrived every single member of staff went out of their way to make our stay really special! Our room was lovely with amazing views over the Loch! We had dinner in the Cameron grill and it was the most amazing meal we've ever had, our waiter was Jayden, he was really knowledgeable about everything on the menu and really friendly, he made our experience perfect! Breakfast was also brilliant, so much choice and superb food, we were greeted by Jason, who along with all the staff were super friendly! We mentioned we had just got married and to our surprise we're brought brownies, strawberries and bucks fizz :) Made us feel really special!! Can't wait to visit again an amazing place with amazing staff!!

We recently had a lovely stay at Cameron House, I am in the middle of chemotherapy so needed the right balance of rest, relaxation and pampering. Due to my health I couldn’t have any treatments but I was well and truly spoiled in other ways. The food was amazing, the staff were outstanding and the surroundings were sublime. Switching off was just what was needed. If you want to feel special then CH is the place for you 💕

We headed up to Cameron House for a weekend away from London. We got an evening flight which got us to the hotel at 9pm. We headed straight to the Great Scots Bar where we enjoyed a cocktail or two on the very comfortable furniture with cool jazz playing the background. We then headed up to the room, which was incredible. A beautiful bed with a view of the Loch, plenty of space in the walk-in wardrobe and a clean, inviting bathroom. The next day we headed for a walk up Stoneymollan which we would highly recommend. The view of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond from the top are striking (just pack a couple of nibbles in your pocket to keep you going!). A trip to the Spa is a must as we enjoyed our afternoon in the rooftop infinity pool and the array of thermal rooms on offer. Our day was topped off with a delicious meal at the Cameron Grill and a huge shout out must go to Mark who was very attentive and found time on a busy shift to have chats with us! Breakfast is a high point at Cameron House - a mimosa and Bloody Mary station, glasses for juice that are bigger than two sips worth, plenty of fruit and pastries and a wonderful cooked breakfast buffet. We headed out on a champagne boat cruise around the Loch - which is a must if you come to visit! We were looked after tremendously by Callie and Scott who were incredibly patient with all my questions about the length, depth, wildlife and history of the Loch and surrounding area! We finished off our trip with lunch in the Tavern, which had become my little escape to watch sport and have a pint, always kept full by Joshua. We both enjoyed a smash burger and a pint whilst watching Rangers vs Celtic which provided an amusing atmosphere in the bar..! A huge thank you must go to CJ who came and checked in on us every breakfast and throughout the day. She was very forgiving when I changed times of restaurant bookings and she planned the whole itinerary for us, it made our lives so much easier - thank you CJ! Thank you to Will and all the team at Cameron House for such a brilliant and restful weekend away in Bonnie Scotland!
