Cameron House on Loch Lomond

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay at the Cameron House Hotel over New Years Eve 2025 as a family of 5. From the moment we arrived the staff were so attentive in both the hotel and also in the restaurant and made us all feel so welcome. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed; the beds were so comfortable! We had dinner on the first night in the Sports Bar which was delicious with plenty of choice for all tastes. We also had a trip to the shooting school (kindly arranged for us by the hotel) which was a really fun activity to do with our adult children. New Years Eve itself was completely perfect with a fabulous Black Tie event, with delicious food, music and dancing not to mention the fantastic entertainment with bag pipes and fireworks seeing in the New Year. I would highly recommend Cameron House and very much look forward to hopefully returning again one day.

Attending on 31st December 2025. The young receptionists did a great job in what could only be described as absolute chaos with little or no support evident from the senior team. Not a five star experience by any standard.

My husband and I stayed at Cameron House for one night and it was, without a doubt, the best night away we have ever had in Scotland. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything felt truly magical. The service was exceptional — we were treated like royalty, and the attentiveness and warmth from every single member of staff was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. A huge thank you to John and Christopher from the valet/concierge team, who were absolutely lovely and so funny — Cameron House is incredibly lucky to have them. Jennah at check-in was so welcoming, down to earth and made us feel instantly at home. Dinner at the Cameron Grill was outstanding. The steak was hands down the best steak we have ever eaten, and breakfast the next morning was equally incredible — some of the best food we’ve ever had. Deputy Manager Joanne made our evening extra special, treating us like old friends and creating such a warm, memorable experience. We have completely fallen in love with Cameron House and are already planning a return trip at Christmas with our little boy and family. We cannot wait to make lifelong memories here. An exceptional hotel with exceptional people — highly, highly recommended.
