Perhaps better known for it's long history as a fine B&B, The Maidstone happens to have one of East Hampton's top dining venues. Dubbed the Living Room, you'll find a hip vibe and cool ambiance once you enter, with a lovely fireplace--all year round--providing an inviting focal point to the square-shaped bar. Service is attentive and professional--ask for Vivianna! And Assistant Manager Emily is a delight, all smiles and eager to please. Four couples dined and agreed the Crispy Half Chicken was outstanding, as was the scrumptious Joyce's Burger. The colossal shrimps appetizer was also delicious, accompanied with cocktail sauces a cut above. While overall a bit pricey, what isn't in East Hampton? Here, your dollars are amply rewarded with a wonderful dining experience. Enjoy! D. Slater New City

The Maidstone could not be better located. A short walk to town, bike to beach. The staff was amazing. From parking to bar to restaurant! Speaking of the restaurant, we had a fantastic meal there. Super fresh fish, really delicious. I loved the garden and front porch. Great bed and shower fixtures. We would love to stay there again

I was at the Maidstone for MDW and had a great experience. After the renovation the place looked great, the bar and restaurant were both lively, food was amazing, service was nice and helpful, and room was comfortable. I'll be sure to go back throughout the summer. I already recommended it to friends for dinner or even just drinks at the bar.

See beach in winter; feel sunset over tides; stand against cold gale; empty opulence of the rich; vacant fame of famous restaurant; wide screen TV over fire place; neat Bluetooth speaker on the desk. Complimentary breakfast was excellent after so much typicals. Sea is great.

We recently spent 2 days in a lovely room with a sitting area and a beautiful bath with a deep soaking tub. We had drinks by the fireplace, and a most delicious dinner in the living room. It was truly a delightful way to spend a winter weekend. Thanks to India for making the arrangements so perfectly.
