Lovely Inn

Lovely inn with comfortable, quiet rooms and excellent location. The rooms were clean and the service attentive. If you take the time to appreciate the charm and attention to detail throughout the inn and its gardens, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful Vintage and Classic Inn. There are few like this in the world.

This was our 5th stay over the past decade. It's like going home. It's very well maintained and, if anything, it's gotten better each visit. Its traditional, beautiful, and a one of a kind venue. The attention to detail is phenomenal. The staff is very welcoming and classic. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Pure Paradise

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 months ago

My husband and I stayed at the Charlotte Inn 40 years ago. We stayed last night, and were more impressed with an incredible experience. Our appreciation for the spectacular gardens, beautiful art throughout the inn, antiques, and a charming breakfast with French porcelain and sterling silver made for almost a perfect visit. Then we got to meet Morgan and Bentley, the Golden Retrievers. Paula, the owner greeted us before breakfast and shared some wonderful stories with us. The staff is professional and helpful, and kind. The gardens are spectacular. They bring a special light to the rainy spring we have had. The Charlotte Inn is a gem. Leaving this surreal respite is going to be difficult. We will be back.

An old-fashioned dinner

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 months ago

The atmosphere of the place is mid-Bed and Breakfast, by which I mean it has an extraordinary number of Finds from local antique and Junque shops. It is amusing, but I wouldn't call it elegant. The menu seems geared to those who want martinis and meat. My wife seems to have a large portion of a sheep, but my Wagyu beef was of a manageable size. The clientele was all on the older side. I ordered the almost cake for dessert, expecting something like a torta de Santiago, but it turned out to be a relative of a candy bar, with peanut butter and almond paste. The service was pleasant. We dined early, so teher were only a few others, so it was not noisy.
