Me and my boyfriend stayed at Grand Isle from the 3 Sept for 5 days. Sandra and her team are super friendly, ultra helpful and all round amazing. We had a one bedroom beach view villa, it was very spacious, clean and had everything you could need. The resort itself is beautiful, pool is fab and the beach is out of this world. Yes they only have one restaurant which is a shame but I think if the menu was rotated it would make it a little better. We asked if we could have a lunch option at dinner and they accommodated us without a problem. Sterling is the best mixologist ever, made me some great cocktails and Mindy on reception is just a delight. The only problem we had was Hurricane Irma who sadly cut our trip short by 2 days. Sandra and her team were very professional during the Hurricane, helping guests check out early, moving flights, checking hotels etc all while not showing the worry everyone was feeling. Will I be back, you bet I will. Worth every penny. I just hope that the team and resort faired well during Irma.

This resort is absolutely amazing. Everyone that works here is so upbeat & positive. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. Will definitely stay here again! Only downfall is there is only one restaurant here and it closes early. It could use one or two more places to eat and drink.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Grand Isle back in May and had a wonderful time. Our trip definitely didnt start wonderful we missed our flight due to traffic trying to get to the airport but the hotel staff was great in working with us and accommodating our change in schedule and helping us to move our fishing trip around. Once we arrived the following morning we were able to get right into our room which was above and beyond our expectations. The resort grounds were beautiful and the whole staff was beyond friendly. The hotel assistant manager even worked with us to refund us for the one night we missed and we could not be more thankful. We did learn there is such a thing as Bohemian time haha and when your told 20 minutes its probably more like 30-40 minutes but we didn't mind so much being on vacation. Thank you to everyone at Grand Isle for making our stay so wonderful!! Also just know if you want to travel outside of the hotel renting a car might be a good idea as taxis are rather expensive to get around. We wanted to go to another restaurant for dinner but it was going to be 50 dollars each way so we stayed at the hotel and ate every night which was not bad but we like to venture out when we can.

My family stayed at the resort for a few days in July and loved every minute of it. We are bahamians and love vacationing throughout the beautiful islands of this amazing archipelago. The Grand Isle Resort & Spa did not disappoint. In addition to having a well maintained property with convenient amenities, the staff is perhaps the most noteworthy asset. Those working the front desk were very friendly and accommodating; I wish could name them all. We had a wonderful spa experience thanks to Tamara and Kat. They were both very professional and exhibited the unique brand of bahamian warmth and hospitality. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with laughter. We will most definitely return to the resort and will encourage others to experience this jewel.
