Reviews for Grand Isle Resort & Spa
We booked a 3 bedroom villa for 7 adults and one toddler, it was perfect for all of us! Everyone was super friendly and helpful from reception, palapa restaurant and the pool/beach hut. Received great customer service from the following individuals: Obi, Jayden's Tio Pablo (Paul), Shelly and all the staff at the restaurant. I can't wait to go back! The water is warm and crystal clear! Went twice to coco plum beach. Was bummed that we were too early to eat at Santana's but had a wonderful fish and chips at Chat N Chill!

Myself and 23 other family members stayed at Grand Isle for 5 nights. The resort was beautiful visually. The restaurant and pool area has a stunning view of Emerald Bay.The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced for a resort. The drinks were expensive but priced consistently with other resorts I have stayed at. The resort is kid friendly. The restaurant is an open air restaurant. I would have liked to have an indoor restaurant as well to get in the AC. The layout of the condos was easy to navigate and you receive a golf cart to traverse the property with. The interior finishes of the condos are well done. They come with fully furnished kitchen. I would recommend making the trip into Georgetown to get some groceries. The only thing I did not like were the mattresses. The mattresses were very hard, I ended up sleeping on the couch after the first night. They provide complimentary beach/pool towels, kayaks, and paddle boards. There is a beautiful golf course next door shared by Grand Isle and Sandals. The golf course fees are pricy. The spa at Grand Isle was fantastic. The best part about Grand Isle and Exuma in general are the people. In summary the only things keeping me from rating Grand Isle Resort 5 star are the mattresses and the lack of an indoor restaurant; other than that I would have no problem going back again.

Absolutely love this place. The staff is very nice and accommodating! We had a two room garden view room. It was amazing!! Drank my coffee on the balcony several mornings just taking in the view. We did not get a golf cart, as our room was very close to the lobby & pool. My daughter was hell bent on getting her hair braided with little braids... Luckily, the spa offers this service for a very reasonable price too. The girl who did her hair was beyond nice. The pool was amazing! The hummingbird stand has towels & even kayak & standup paddle boards they will take out to the ocean for you. The beach!!!!! This is the best beach! Absolutely beautiful! Plenary of chairs & lounges to use. The Pallapa Grill.. are here a lot! Great breakfast! Great Lunch! Great Dinner! We ate there on the Tuesday Night Bahamian theme night. Great live music! Our last night on the island was my daughters birthday, we were suppose to eat somewhere else, but it had started to rain, so we decided it was just best to stay at the Resort. We called the restaurant to see if they could accommodate us, and that is was my daughters birthday. Within an hours notice, they had our table decorated with balloons and party hats. When they brought out her dessert everyone in the restaurant sang. Truly amazing!

My family stayed at the Grand Isle Resort and Spa the week of June 26th. The grounds and the accommodations are absolutely beautiful. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The water is unlike anything I've ever seen before (and I've been to a few islands). Of course swimming with the pigs and feeding the iguanas and stingrays was a complete blast. The whole family loved the 1/2 day tour from Exuma Water Sports. I'd highly recommend them. If you go ... you must make the trip over to Stocking Island to have some drinks and food at Chat N' Chill. I loved that place. My only piece of advice for the resort. If you are booking an ocean view accommodation, be aware that it might just be a "sliver" of a view. If you really want to see the water, pony up for the ocean front view. You will get an unobstructed view. Even with that being the case, I couldn't complain. The place was just too beautiful. I would definitely like to go back.
