My daughter and I had a wonderful time with Chef DeDe, she taught us so much and had many tips to make an outstanding meal! Our dinner was delicious! It was truly the cooking and fun night we anticipated. Our stay at the Inn was amazing, especially meeting Penelope and Stuart.

It smelled gross and there were a lot of stairs. The restaurants were all overpriced. I would not return to this hotel again.

The Essex always surpasses our expectations! Even after over 100 stays over a dozen years! Wonderful people, always kind, considerate, caring, respectful, and eager to go the extra mile! Accommodations have always been exceptional! Very clean, comfortable, and inviting! Could not recommend them more!

Fantastic stay! Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming at the Essex Resort & Spa. The restaurants and amenities were great, we would highly recommend for families and couples alike. Located in a very nice area with many things to do.

Very nice Inn- comfortable, super clean and quiet! Close enough to Burlington to get our “urban fix” but far enough away from some , of the problems plaguing Burlington lately. Looking forward to coming back in the summer months to enjoy the outdoor amenities
