I love everything about this place! The service is always amazing! From the van to the restaurant it is cozy and has a great vibe. Laura at the Lazy Goat is always sure to serve up great drinks and food! I would definitely recommend !

What a beautiful property! Outdoor areas to walk around and lounge. A nice fire pit up front. All decorated for the fall made it look to honey and cute. Rooms are cozy and welcoming. Staff were friendly.

Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect! The grounds were stunning, and our studio room was a cozy, peaceful fit for me and my daughter. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. We enjoyed a truly 5-star dinner at Junction Tavern—every bite was delicious, and our hostess Kimberly was wonderful. The entire dining team made the evening feel special and memorable. This trip was a reward for my 30 years of service at work, and I wanted to go somewhere truly unforgettable. Burlington, VT in the fall was the perfect choice, and The Essex Resort exceeded every expectation. I specifically asked my travel agent for something unique—not a hotel chain—and she recommended The Essex. I’m so glad she did. The resort’s charm, comfort, and attention to detail made our stay feel like a celebration. I can’t say enough good things about The Essex Resort. It was everything I hoped for and more.
