This hotel is a GEM. Will absolutely come back. Had not been to this hotel in many years and I was blown away by the new management. Although some of the rooms (Brisas building) and bathrooms are showing their age, this hotel is a complete vacation for multigenerational travel. Lots of ADA features like ramps and accessible pool chairs. The Palomino and its on-island restaurant alone are worth the stay, but the many delicious onsite restaurant options, the water park, the leisure amenities: ice cream shops, coffee places, smoothie shop, table tennis, courts, golf, even a leisure tv room, gives so many insane options, you need more than a night or two to take full advantage. The staff is helpful absolutely delightful. Lots of lifeguards around, employees are helpful and pleasant. Once told, they were especially vigilant about peanut and food allergies. This is the perfect place for families with kids of all ages. Even jaded teens had an absolute blast, the adults had cocktails poolside and felt reassured by all the attentive staff at the pools. There’s a smaller pool for younger kids/toddlers. Summer weekdays are not crowded which surprised me because this hotel is an absolute JEWEL for leisure, conventions and corporate events. It deserves to be filled to the brim.

On one of our visits to the restaurants. The Eskina was so delightful. Our server Alexander was extremely pleasant and very informative to us. The food was so flavorful and big portions. I can't say enough for the server she was the ideal person you want to come up for us when you're on your vacation. Her personality was right on point!

The best food is for sure BoHo Osbel was our waiter and he’s awesome! Super knowledgeable, and obviously enjoys his job. This was by far the best meal we have had at this resort. You go to boho and Osbel will handle the rest.

We enjoyed our stay with staff friendly and attentive. Our several meals at Ballyhoo were no doubt the highlight of our stay. We had gone deep sea fishing one day and brought our “catch” to the restaurant chef Jose prepared in several cuisine styles all of which were delicious. Bolivor, our waiter, was extremely attentive and obviously loved his job! The setting is beautiful overlooking the ocean just a few feet away. We ate at Ballyhoo multiple times during our stay and it is a must try restaurant.
