Great place. Gorgeous property with awesome views. Villas were very nice. Plenty to do on the campus but I recommend that you go off campus once or twice to sample some local flavor. Highly recommend Las Casitas. Will definately go back again.

Hotel and rooms were excellent. Staff was excellent. Dining in the resort was variable - some great; some poor. All were expensive. Steak house and Blossoms were best. Need to get shuttle between Las Casitas and main hotel - not too inconvenient.

We have stayed here a few times and each time has been great. It can be a little expensive but it's worth it. If you play your cards right you can get a decent room for a good price. The food is not cheap though. It is a great place for families. there is something for everyone here and it's a beautiful place.

Our family stayed at Las Casitas from July 15-22. I can't say enough wonderful comments about this place. Just WOW!!!!! The beaches, water, activities, etc are all first class. Lastly, the employees of the Las Casitas are magnificent. Some notable comments are: 1. We ate breakfast at the Casitas Cafe four times and the food was great. A buffet plus the ability to order pancakes, omelets or eggs any way you like. Also, kids are half price, which was nice. The best part about breakfast was speaking with Joann. Such a nice lady and always helpful. We all loved visiting with her. 2. Shuttle service--We used the shuttle daily and in the evening Steban was the shuttle driver. Fantastic guy and always asked how we were doing, offered help about the grounds, etc. I can't say enough nice things about Steban. People like this is what make companies great. 3. Butler--Eggy was our Butler for the week. Great guy and always there when we needed him. Very helpful and super friendly. 4. Blossom's Restaurant--we ate at the Hibachi style restaurant twice and loved it. The portions and food was great. Also, the kids were half price. Be careful though, each soda refill was a charge. I didn't notice that and $28 later for the four of us drinking cokes and lemonade was a lot. The second time we all had water. 5. Chops--Chops was fantastic and again they had a kids menu that helped with the cost. The filets were wonderful and the service was perfect. 6. Horseback riding--My two daughters and I went horseback riding on Palamino Island. Ed was our leader and he did a great job!!!! This was the main event my youngest daughter wanted to do and Ed fulfilled her wish. Ed was a great instructor and took pictures along the way and airdropped them to me on my phone. Ed is another fellow than exemplifies great service. Super friendly and performed a wonderful service. I could go on and on about what a great time we had. The beaches, pools and activities were all wonderful. Also, having staff members like Steban, Joann, Ed and Eggy will allow the resort to continue to be successful.

We stayed in the north village, conveniently close to the main hotel. Our view was AMAZING! The infinity pool (exclusive only to Las Casitas- not available to main hotel guests) is beautiful, and you can walk to the main hotel if you want more activity. We did both, according to whether we wanted to sit quietly and enjoy a serene view over the ocean or if the kids wanted to be in one of the pools where all of the activities were. Palomino Island is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed a trail run on some marked trails they have over there, and the views were spectacular. Thank you to our fabulous butler, Eggy, who took spectacular care of us. He was kind, professional, and very thoughtful. The service was terrific wherever we went on the resort. My only warning is for individuals who may get sea sick on boat rides. The beach for Las Casitas is actually on their private island called Palomino Island. It's a short ride over there, and it is stunning. They have a restaurant, bar service, water sports, and even horseback riding on the island. However, if boat rides are not your thing, this would not be the place for you.
