Extraordinary Family Vacation!I purchased a 4 night stay as a surprise vacation for our daughter. It was better that I could have imagined. The views were in a word.. spectacular. The staff were nice and friendly. The grounds are so expansive and will take you some time to get around. We enjoyed going to Palomino island to experience the beach which was nice. It rains nearly every day for a brief time there but it's a tropical climate and doesn't hamper any activities you might want to enjoy. Enjoyed the Coqui waterpark as gave us another activity for our family at the resort. The one thing that you should be prepared for is the food and items there are expensive. One suggestion is take advantage of the evening dining restaurants which require reservations as they are better dining options and will cost your nearly the same others w/walk up service.

Tropical paradiseLas casitas village was a truly exceptional experience. The concierge staff really went out of their way to meet all of our needs. The villa was roomy, clean and modern. Will definitely go back.

Another fabulous stay!It is our second time using Luxury Link and what we reserved was EXACTLY what we booked. It was a fabulous vacation with enough to do to stay busy but quiet enough to relax. The room was spacious, private, with exceptional views. The butler service was superb! Our butler, Carlos, was available when we needed a question answered, a coconut opened or an alternate route somewhere. Perfect for our family!

Almost Perfect!Las Casitas was a beautiful resort, and we could not ask for a better view from our room! The only reason it did not get 5 stars was because I would highly recommend that they designate the infinity pool as an adult only pool. It was such a beautiful site, but it was so overrun by children that we couldn't enjoy the water, view, or even feel relaxed while sitting in this pool area. There were other pools that the kids would enjoy playing in just as well. Just a suggestion...

Always a delight! Two years ago, my family had stayed at Las Casitas in Fajardo, PR. When I saw the offer on Luxury Link, I knew I had to advantage of such a great deal. Make no mistake, Luxury Link offers a PHENOMONAL value. As with our trip before, we had a fabulous time. With the extras we received with our  deal, we not only ft pampered, but also saved money, too. We saved on all our watersports, delicious morning meals, and trips to the convenient water park. I would definitely recommend not just this property, but using Luxury Link as well.

Excellent! My family of four just returned from Las Casitas and loved it. The only thing wrong was that our stay was too short! The resort is beautiful, extremely well-run, family-oriented and safe. Our teenagers were SO HAPPY and did not want to leave. They even commented how friendly and nice all of the staff had been and I will affirm that the staff is exceptionally warm and friendly. We would love to make this an annual tradition. The only room for improvement in my opinion, is that the rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Just cleaning the grout would update the rooms.

Several hiccups along the way . . .This is my fourth vacation booked through Luxury Link, and I'm afraid this one was a little disappointing. Our "casita" was a tad care-worn. There was peeling paint on the blinds, the handtowel ring was broken and came off in our hand, and the bathtub featured a peeling and unattractive slip guard. Taking a bath in that tub was absolutely out of the question, and on our last day, there was no water pressure so that my only shower consisted of standing under a tiny trickle. The safe was broken. All in all, this was certainly not the level of accommodation I have come to expect from accommodations offered on Luxury Link. Honestly, if my expectations hadn't been so high, I might not have been so let down, but there it is. Some additional issues cropped up regarding the breakfast that was included in our package. The small cafe that was closest to our casita and a part of the section of the resort (supposedly the smaller, more exclusive area) where we were staying was closed a majority of our time at the resort. This meant that to get breakfast, we had to go up to the main part of the much larger resort and stand in line for the buffet. I don't mind standing in line for a buffet if that's what I signed up for, but unfortunately, it was not. The larger resort was hosting a conference and apparently it was at max capacity, which we learned when we arrived for breakfast our first morning and had to wait about 45 minutes to eat a buffet with hundreds of other people, with a good part of our wait occurring outdoors in a huge line. There were three main restaurant options for dinners, all of which were pretty disappointing (consisting of Italian, American, and Asian food, nothing special or local), but there was a seafood restaurant located farthest from the casitas in the marina village which we discovered our last night, and it was very good.
All of that said, Puerto Rico itself is beautiful. There were lots of pools, including a very nice infinity pool. The staff at this resort was uniformly friendly and helpful.
Given everything, I would not return to Las Casitas Villages or this resort. We almost went home the first day and had some very sad discussions during the horrible buffet breakfast, but I'm glad we stuck it out because there certainly were some high points, including the lovely views and climate of Puerto Rico.

Great Stay - Really Nice Resort - Lots to DoWe just spent 5 days at Last Casitas and we had a great stay. Palomino Island is really nice, but just know that you have to go there to enjoy the beach. The resort is built on the side of a cliff, so there's no beach at the actual resort. Palomino is only a short boat ride away. We spent a morning there and really enjoyed it. The beach is clean and white and the water is clear and blue. If you don't want to bother with that, there are several pools and they are all nice. The food at the resort is just ok, and it is expensive, but you're on an island at a resort, so it's expected. The service was helpful and everyone was nice. We'd go back. We liked that Las Casitas was quieter and a bit removed from the main hotel.Â
