Wonderful hotel property with high end amenities and excellent service. The view from my room was nice, overlooking the courtyard and the ocean. Nice stores for frivolous shopping and solid restaurant options. I enjoyed a10 mile bike ride along the bike paths surrounding the area. The beach itself is wonderful with plenty of chairs and space for families or couples. Great hotel for relaxation.

Very nice public areas. Fitness room below average for this type hotel. Very good food. Nice staff everywhere. Despite asking, never replaced broken make up mirror in bathroom. Room was not feather free when i arrived at midnivht, despite it being in reservation. Nice staff every part of hotel. Didnot provide key to mini bar. Second time here in two years. Hallways on main level are frigid, as are meeting rooms. Entire group froze, coldest hallways ever.

The weather did not cooperate (it rained the entire time), so I can't comment on what looked to be an incredible location. Service was very good and conference facilities were very nice. However, paint was cracking all around the cabinet panels in the bathroom and some grout lines were cracking as well (probably a combo of humidity and a/c). Nitpicks I know, easily repaired and in no way detracted from the stay.

This was our second visit to the RC Amelia Island. We previously spent 8 days here in June 2015. This trip, we spent 3 days/2 nights in March with our two children, 2 1/2 and 2 months. We were in an Ocean View suite with Club level access. Make sure to set your alarms to catch the sunrise from the balcony of your room, it is the most stunning sight! From the time we made our reservation, the pre arrival staff was wonderful- to the time we checked in, Carolina at the front desk was welcoming, kind, helpful, and great to our children. We arrived early, and because our room wasn’t ready, we were given keys to the club lounge to enjoy our club perks (we would not travel to a RC without booking club level!) Mark and Franco in the club lounge were very helpful and welcoming. The club lounge has several presentations daily, breakfast, lunch, light snacks, hor d’ouvres and cordials/desserts. Everything we tried was delicious! If they didn’t have something, they were willing to go above and beyond for us and other guests to provide it for them! They ordered up kids meals for our son each evening (complimentary) and allowed me to order from Coast a dinner meal (for a fee) so that we wouldn’t have to bring the kids out to dinner. I had the New York Strip Loin- it was delicious! Gary V. Spa and Recreation Director ensured that our stay was impeccable. He greeted us and made himself available should we have needed any assistance throughout our stay. Again, I can’t say enough about the warm, welcoming staff. With club lounge access, you are also granted access to the spa (steam room, sauna bath, hot tub, etc). For the ultimate experience, go for the club level! The pools and hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) were well maintained, and the service was prompt. The beach was not set up with chairs, likely due to the cooler temperatures in March. Still we were able to take some great family photos. While traveling with two young children can be daunting, the staff did everything possible to make us feel right at home. Our children were greeted by their names by every staff member we encountered. RC Amelia Island is perfect for a family getaway! We can’t wait to return next year and are grateful for the memories.

Wife and I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton hotel two weeks ago and it was remarkable in every way. Great service, great ocean front room, great hotel, beautiful beach, lots to do and amazing food. We will certainly think about going back. We would like to have had more time to take full advantage of all the activities including bicycle rides to explore the island. The facility is really nice. Everything you would expect at a Ritz-Carlton. Breakfast buffet was top notch with everything you could imagine and their macchiato's were really really good. I am a coffee snob and despise Starbucks coffee. Room was really nice with balcony looking directly at the ocean. Bathroom was nice with the toilet in it's own room. Plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. Lobby was very nice and the outside areas were also quite nice. We played golf which was literally a few steps away from the lobby, nice course. Used the outdoor hot tub afterwards. Saw the work out room, spa area, swimming pools. We really didn't;t want to leave and hope to go back again for a longer stay.
