Beautiful Riad with great amenities and friendly staff
My wife and I had a two night stay here in May. This Riad is stunningly beautiful. The service was excellent. Our room was great and comfortable. The rooftop bar is a really nice place to end the day. The staff at the bar were incredibly friendly. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and had a nice experience (separate review). It is expensive by Morocco standards and the drinks are typical of a 5* hotel in Morocco. They are expensive. We had the Hammam in the spa and it was incredible. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. The spa is beautiful. The hotel is overall expensive and worth it. We used Amex and it worked really well for us. I would recommend this Riad and definitely would stay here again.

Beware of the Many Steps
Riad Fes is a lovely property with excellent dining and a spa for a Moroccan hamman. The rooftop bar is fabulous. The only issue was the excessive amount of steps that were a tripping hazard. In fact, the entrance to our room had steps without a railing in a dimly staircase. I did see one suite that appeared to not have steps but most of the rooms did.

A magical experience...
We enjoyed two evenings in a row at Riad Fes's rooftop terrace to watch the sunset, take in the beautiful view of the historic medina, and hear the incredible call to prayer. The service was consummate, kind, warm, and generous - we had the same server both evenings and the bartender is a certified Calvados ambassador. The drinks were incredible, the food was great, and we couldn't have been more attentively cared for. The wonderful bartender (Adnou?) had a very special bespoke Manhattan recipe for my husband, including three of his own bitters recipes, and a fresh date. While we weren't overnight guests at the riad, we will be the next time we come to Fes. Two incredible evenings in a row. Highly recommend.
