Reviews for Little America Hotel Flagstaff

Welcome Retreat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

Little American Hotel was a delightful surprise. It was located close to our favorite hiking spot at Walnut Canyon. The hotel was unassuming brick outside but had a high-end check in foyer that was welcoming, had exquisite landscape art, beautiful wooden desks, and colorful rock art. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, had cool wooden headboards and a gorgeous live edge wooden desk. The bathrooms consisted of a smaller, well appointed sink area and a larger private shower, sink and toilet room. The water for showers was hot, towels were plush, and the rooms were spotless. We appreciated the two queen sized beds that had high end soft bedding. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar. The staff were friendly, professional, and fast. Happy hour was much appreciated after a day of hiking. Try the short trail outside.

Great for families!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Rooms were very large with plenty of room for our family of four. Very large bathroom with a sink within the toilet room and one for others to use. Our little balcony overlooked the back of the property which is wooded and gorgeous. We grabbed breakfast from the diner next door. Pancakes and French toast were delish! We stayed two nights and did day trips to Sedona and Jerome.

Highly recommended!!

I’m not sure why this is rated a 3-star establishment. The staff at check in was incredibly nice and professional. Once we walked inside our building, everything was beautifully decorated. The room was decorated and more high-end than usual hotels. There’s a separate sink area and then bath area with toilet, shower and another sink. The room itself is slightly larger than average hotel rooms. The bed was very comfortable and had a beautiful natural wood writing desk. A safe, fridge, clothes steamer and microwave were also in the room. We overlooked the center of the complex and it was beautifully woody. I wish we were here more than 1 night.

Several Stays, All Excellent

This is such a gem of a nice hotel! The rooms are clean, roomy and sophisticated. Truly wonderful. We enjoy the quiet and comfortable accommodations. There are k-cup coffee machines, mini-fridges and a safe, extra luggage racks and more in the room. The bathroom has separate areas with two sinks and vanities. The furniture is beautiful and updated. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are gorgeous. The staff though are amazing-fully trained and efficient. When you are traveling these types of things really matter.

My kids give it ALL the stars...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My kids would give this hotel 100 stars if they could -- I have never seen them so sad to leave a place. When we arrived on the first of April there was snow on the ground and it did feel a bit magical. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We had the 2-bedroom apartment, which was perfect for our family of five. We used it as a home base for day trips around Northern AZ, including the Grand Canyon, and it was the perfect place to return to after long days hiking and exploring. My *only* complaint is that the single bathroom in the apartment does not have a main door--there is a frosted glass door to the toilet but otherwise nada. So do not reserve this room if you require much privacy from your fellow travelers.
