We have just returned from 4 nights at the Bernini Palace . We had a deluxe room which was spotlessly clean with beautiful decor and bedding but had no view . It overlooked a narrow road leading from the square where unfortunately large groups of young people gathered each night screaming and shouting in the early hours . This was no fault of the hotel but made sleep difficult as did the three days of constant banging from the floor below which started at 8:00 and finished at 6pm . One afternoon there was also loud drilling which was most unpleasant. After a busy day exploring the wonders of Florence which are truly amazing and wanting to sit quietly with a drink and relax before going out for dinner this was spoilt by the loud banging which also woke us each morning too at exactly 8.00 bang bang bang bang!!!!!! It would have been good to have been moved to a room away from this as the management were well aware of the noise and disturbance it caused . Otherwise the hotel is lovely in a great location for seeing everything with the Uffizi on the doorstep and everything so close . The staff are charming and helpful and breakfast in the stunning parliament room is delicious. We fell in love with Florence but our visit was spoiled by the constant unwanted noise in our room .

The Bernini Palace is located in the heart of Florence, within walking distance to all major museums. The room was beautiful and spacious. Bed was firm and comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The staff goes above and beyond what you expect as your comfort is their main concern. Any issues were addressed immediately. We plan to return and stay at the Bernini.

My wife & I stayed at this lovely hotel from the 23rd -27th October & enjoyed it thoroughly . From our arrival to our departure , the staff were wonderful & were only to pleased to help in any way possible . They always greeted you with a smile & Buongiorno or Buonasera . Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed & there was a safe in the wardrobe but the bathroom was a bit cramped but wasnt a major concern. Bed linnen , towels & flannels were changed every day & the bed was turned down every evening & a small gift was left for us , which is a nice touch . The room where breakfast was served was spacious & there was the usual items provided along with a very good coffee . And we really enjoyed going to the bar for a nightcap & a coffee before going to bed . The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Florence & all the tourist attractions are only a few minutes walk away which is ideal as you dont need to have to walk a long way to start visiting any of the attractions . We wont be going back to Florence again , but if we were , the Bernini Palace would be our first choice hotel . A big thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Bernini Palace for their professionalism & being so helpful & polite all the time . Thank you guys .

Our experience here was flawless. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The staff were invariably pleasant and helpful and there was a general sense that they would happily do whatever was needed to make our stay enjoyable. Franco in the restaurant and bar and Elisa as the breakfast greeter and at the front desk were particularly warm and attentive. There were many little touches, such as the wastebasket being emptied during the turndown service. The breakfast was sumptuous, with delicious cheeses, grilled vegetables, and a wide selection of fruit in addition to the usual breakfast items. The location is splendid, just steps from the Uffizi, the Piazza de la Signoria, and the Palazzo Vecchio. The bar is a very pleasant place for a nightcap. The hotel is beautiful and we had a wonderful time here.
