I booked to stay here for three nights as a surprise for my wife's 30th birthday. A couple of weeks before i contacted the concierge to see what they could do to help make my wife's birthday special - I was not disappointed. Lorenzo organised everything perfectly. We had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco delivered to the room, he then walked us to the Arno river for a private boat then had booked a table for us at a really lovely traditional restaurant, called 'Parione'. For breakfast on the day (something I had not arranged) we ordered some pancakes and they brought them out with a candle and they didn't charge us for them. It was such a nice thought, we were very impressed! The hotel has a touch of class to it. Our double deluxe room was more than adequate for us and it was nice and clean too. They even do a turn-down service which was unexpected. The food and coffee for breakfast was great and all the staff, especially Lorenzo were amazing. The location is perfect too. We found we could walk to most places in no more than 15 minutes. I would happily stay here again.

We booked this hotel for our wedding anniversary and was not disappointing. On arrival (an hour early) we were checked in and retired to the bar, for a welcome drink before being formally escorted to our room by a concierge, who explained the facilities and timings of the hotel en-route. On arrival in our room we had a comprehensive brief, during which time our luggage arrived. During our stay the concierge helped with tickets and tours whilst providing general guidance about dining and shopping around Florence. Within one day the majority of staff knew our names, room number and preferences. It felt like we had been there for weeks. All in all a very happy experience, made special by the first class staff. one minor point, we only found the hot tub on the roof terrace towards the end of our stay - well worth a visit.

We had the best room in the hotel. Close to the top floor, with a view of the the Duomo. The room was very quiet, with all the features you would expect in a 5 star hotel. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The doorman was always present to open the door and give you a cheery buongiorno. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The service was attentive and quick. We enjoyed a drink at the bar and the bartender was also efficient and attentive. The prices were reasonable. There were also complimentary snacks along with our beverages. There is also a nice terrace, with a jacuzzi, on the fifth floor. It gets locked pretty early so revelers don't bother the guests in the rooms around it. Every evening we would return to our room and our bed would be prepared and chocolates left for us. Nice touch. This was truly a five star experience.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location for exploring and visiting all the Florence has to offer. The staff was attentive and helpful The breakfast was great. Cappuccino perfection every morning. Our room was beautiful. The room was a little cramped with the extra bed for our daughter. The bathroom was slippery. No injuries, just be careful stepping in and out of the tub/shower.

We stayed with a group tour. We were very happy with the service and room. Our room was large, comfortable and spotless. Breakfasts were excellent and the room in which they are served was beautiful. The location was perfect for enjoying Florence. We were in easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. I would absolutely chose to stay here again on a future trip.
