Bernini Palace Hotel

This was our second stay at the Bernini Palace Hotel; I selected the hotel at random 2-1/2 years ago. During that stay I made the decision to return to Florence for Christmas and knew we would return to the Bernini Palace Hotel. The staff - front desk, concierge, doorman, bar manager, servers are professional, pleasant and happy to assist. When I spoke with the front desk about being warm in our room (you either receive A/C or heat - this was the time for heat) I returned that evening to find a standing oscillating fan in my room. The note read, "I hop this helps," and it did! This as both a an unexpected service and a kindness. Cleanliness is a priority for the hotel and you can rest comfortably knowing your guest room is attended to in that respect. On any return visit to Florence, we will stay at Bernini Palace (we would also enjoy visiting other Duetorri Hotels).

This was my families second year in a row visiting Bernini Palace Hotel and we couldn't recommend it more! Bernini Palace Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Florence and walkable to all the sites, authentic restaurants, and great shopping. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay over Christmas special and festive - with Italian treats delivered to our room on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to celebrate. We'd like to especially shout Matteo who is incredibly welcoming and assisted with recommendations throughout our stay in Florence. We highly recommend this property and will absolutely be back in the future!

My recent stay at Bernini Palace was exceeded all expectations. Prime location, just steps from magical Piazza della Signoria, very attentive and welcoming team, rooms are beautifully maintained. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florance.

My fiancée and I chose to stay at The Bernini Palace Hotel and were very pleased with the entire experience. Not only was the hotel impeccably clean with a very professional staff, it was well appointed and well located to every thing we wanted to see, with the river being only a few blocks away. Lorenzo was amazing, always knowing the best places to go, how to get there, and sometimes able to make a taxi appear on immediate request. The place felt “solid”, like it was built by craftsmen who cared. Breakfast was great, and they are really good at little details… like leaving chocolates on your bed each night. If you’re trying to decide where to stay for your visit to Florence, I’d highly recommend staying at the Bernini Palace Hotel.

After multiple requests, the general manager, David, didn't have time to meet with us in person to help resolve a significant issue. Fortunately for you, dear traveler, as he still had the time to send me an email to rate our experience, I will oblige. Here is my advice - stay at the Corte Calzaiuoli Elegant Suites. We canceled our rooms at Bernini Palace for the latter part of our trip and are happy to say the staff and accommodations at Corte Calzaiuoli restored our faith in exceptional customer service! The rooms were beautiful and the nightly rate was less expensive! A win-win after an incredibly unfortunate experience at Bernini Palace Hotel.
