Bernini Palace Hotel

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at the Bernini Palace Hotel to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it genuinely exceeded expectations on every level. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and consistently helpful without ever feeling overbearing. The hotel itself is beautiful, full of character and history, set within a stunning 15th-century building right in the heart of Florence . The location is simply unbeatable. Being just behind Piazza della Signoria, everything is within easy walking distance. We were able to explore iconic sights like the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, Florence Cathedral (Duomo), and the Ponte Vecchio all within minutes. It made the whole trip effortless and allowed us to really soak up the city without worrying about transport. What truly made the stay special were the thoughtful touches. As it was my wife’s birthday on the 20th April, we arrived to a lovely handwritten note and a bottle of prosecco in the room—such a simple gesture but one that made a big impact and set the tone for the whole trip. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean, blending classic Florentine style with modern comfort. Breakfast each morning was excellent, served in a beautiful historic setting, and was a great way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, this was an outstanding stay—great hotel, fantastic service, perfect location, and those extra personal touches that really elevate the experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Perfect hotel right in the historic centre of Florence. Quiet, beautiful hotel, with excellent attentive staff throughout. Breakfast was excellent, as was the room. 5* totally merited. Hoping to stay again whenever I return to Florence

Wonderful experience, friendly attentive staff, not pretentious at all, room much larger than we anticipated, great location for all the sights. Turn down service, lots of chocolates left on the pillow. Bed/pillows so comfortable, I had great sleep. Breakfast ok nothing wonderful - lots of great comments but I thought it was average. Went to the bar each evening before retiring, the bar staff were great and so attentive. Especially the lady from Sardinia - I didn’t get her name. I hope we will be back wonderful

The Hotel Bernini Palace is elegant without being pretentious. Location is within walking distance to most places in the city-I think my longest walk was 25 minutes to the train station. All the major sights were just steps away. Every staff member I encountered were welcoming and wanting to ensure my stay was perfect.
