Bernini Palace Hotel

The Bernini Palace is a luxury hotel perfectly located in the heart of Florence with numerous restaurants and bars in easy walking distance of the hotel. All the main attractions are a short distance from the hotel.The hotel offers a comprehensive buffet breakfast catering to all taste’s with friendly and efficient staff in attendance. The hotel has an excellent bar serving a wide range of drinks and a restaurant offering a fine dining experience.The concierge service is excellent in arranging museum visits and restaurant bookings and is worthwhile contacting before your visit.

It is old and I mean old. Dark and depressing. No satellite TV. Rough linens and hard towels. And the staff were not particularly nice. Very disappointed and not up to par for the price we paid for a supposed 5 star hotel. Very very disappointed.

We were blown away by the top notch, GORGEOUS Bernini palace in the city center. Plenty of shops, historical buildings, and restaurants just STEPS from the door. The concierge was waiting to open the door and greet you at the hotel entrance, and Lorenzo at the front desk welcomed us with a tour of the hotel, gave us a map, answered our questions, made dinner reservations for us for that evening, and made sure we felt very taken care of. The rooms were spacious and clean-very attentive room cleaning/towel and linen swapping. Complimentary water in the room, chocolates on the pillow at turn down service were a great touch! The included breakfast was the best I’ve ever had-everything from eggs, to sausage, cakes, pastries, fruit, cereal, cheeses, meats-all wonderful. It would be a dream to stay here again!

This is an exceptionally fine hotel, perfectly located next to the Palazzo Vecchio. All the staff are very professional friendly and approachable, and the accommodation is excellent. Beautifully clean rooms, lovely breakfasts and a very good in house restaurant, La Chiostrina. We have stayed here many times and always look forward to the welcome. The hotel is a destination in itself and not just somewhere to sleep; it is an oasis of tranquility in the centre of a very busy city.

A fabulous hotel right in the middle of Florence. A very plush, beautiful hotel. Rooms were lovely, comfortable beds & great bathrooms. No views out of windows, these tended to look over service shafts but that's to be expected in such an old building. Rooms with a view are at a premium! It was the perfect base for exploring Florence, everything within a few minutes walk. Everything was very clean, staff were all lovely & very friendly. Try out a Hugo cocktail at the bar - very good!
