Tiniest elevators ever experienced. Two lifts to the room, mediocre beds, awful view. The city stinks like sewage in that part of town, but not the hotels doing. And so hot! Unable to turn off the heater, even after requested the front desk. The half shower door made it impossible to not drown the bathroom. Had to sleep with the windows open and many mosquitoes joined us for the night. Arrogant staff. The ONLY thing I really enjoyed was the breakfast and the close wine window.

The hotel is located at a great location and we were able to walk to all places we visited. The hotel has an old time charm, comfortable beds and great buffet breakfast selections. Room size is relatively small but sufficient for 2 persons. Our only complain is the hotel Wifi, very slow even in the common area and not sufficient for working at all. And our cell phone reception within the hotel was bad (probably due to the old building thick wall?). We ended up went to a Starbucks store to get online.

The only positive I can say about this hotel is its location. We stayed at this establishment for 4 nights. We had No Hot water fro one full day. The shower spilled all ove rthe bathroow which made a huge hazard! Hotel is decorativelty extremely tired with decor being a throw back to the 1980's The staf on the reception were all extremely arogant and rude. The WIFI was extemely poor so if you are thinking of catching up with emails forget it! overall extremely disappointing and certainly not value for money.

I was traveling with a group. There was an issue and our reservations were all cancelled just a few days before our arrival, without our knowledge. Cancellation was not the fault of the hotel, nor was it ours, however when traveling and trying to contact them to discuss what could be done, the woman who answered the phone was beyond rude. It tried to explain that WE did NOT cancel the reservations and I wanted to see what could be done even if we had to split our party. She was rude and in no way helpful. Further to that when I called back to try and book, she screamed "NO ROOMS" like she knew exactly who I was and hung up on me. Now I won't stay here in the future, or refer any of our clients here, just because that is the type of treatment we received due to an error that was not of our making.

Fantastic location 4 Star Hotel in the center of Firenze. Impeccable Service, clean, Nice amenities in the room. Dog friendly, marble bath, bar, and cocktails, very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. I come back for sure.
