Unfortunately, we had a rude encounter with the owner. We were rushed for check-in and hurried out when we tried to check out. Place was decent and the breakfast OK. There was a yippy dog morning and night.

First of all, the location is FANTASTIC- literally 10 steps away from the Duomo. The people at the front desk were extremely accommodating (our flight to Florence was 6 hours late and they stayed there to let us check in late- around 11:30pm). They serve breakfast in bed every morning- delicious croissants and fresh-pressed grapefruit juice. The room was extremely large and quiet. Wifi was not great but it did not really bother me. Great stay and would stay again.

We have been to Florence 3 times and this was by far and away the best location and best value hotel we have stayed in. Situated between the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio you cannot go wrong. The staff was extremely helpful, even helping us carry our luggage up the stairs. The rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was served in our rooms, which was a nice break from the usual. My only suggestion would be to add eggs or cheese or meats to the breakfast as it was very carb-heavy. There was a kettle and fridge which was nice.

This was definitely one of my favorite stays in Italy. The place is so charming. The room was very large. Had a kettle and small fridge. Lovely bath with deep jetted tub. Two very large windows with views of the Duomo. Very close to everything!!! Wonderful breakfast brought to your room every morning. Perfect!!

This was a truly incredible experience - lovely hotel, welcoming staff, breakfast brought to our door every morning, very clean, superb location. Highly recommend this hotel, and to stay in the Michaelangelo room! It was beautiful!
