Very nice Hotel, good location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 5 nights, we have no complaints about the Hotel or the service we experienced. I would stop there again without hesitation.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The first night offer of 20% off the meal in the restaurant was too good to refuse. We weren't disappointed. I'd have to proclaim their Tiramisu the finest I tasted whilst in Italy (and I had a few). The front desk service was great and the room had a really nice balcony, good wi-fi and was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It's in a quiet part of the city but only 15 minutes walk from Il Duomo. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The americano coffee was terrible. Which was very surprising for Italy. And when we sad it to the barmen he got angry he walked us to the coffee machine like we suppose to care how he made this bad coffee. It was some old guy with a mustache. If you want to drink a good americano in this hotel better order a espresso and put some hot water in it. Breakfast definitely not a 5 stars, was almost nothing to eat for vegans.

We stayed 5 nights in September and adored this hotel. It was about a 20 minute stroll (at my slow speed) to the centre of Florence. The hotel is located in a peaceful area behind th US consulate. It is beautifully maintained and furnished and the levels of service were friendly and impeccable. After a hot and tiring day in the city, it was a pleasure to come back and relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Montebello. The service was wonderful and superbly helpful. There is air conditioning and an elevator which are very nice to have access to. The hotel is very nicely decorated and grand. We didn't have breakfast as part of our package so really can't comment on that. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
