When we arrived they had us down as 2 guests instead of 3. They did their best to accommodate us in a room with a sofa bed. The room was a 2 story room with a king bed on the second floor and the bathroom downstairs. Not the best setup. The a/c fan started making a loud noise in the middle of the night. Hotel was clean and very quaint tho. Not sure I would stay there again.

Loved our experience. This is a luxury boutique style hotel. Beautiful, warm decor with mosaic tile floors and wood and marble finishes throughout. The breakfast had extensive choices, with attentive service in a garden like atmosphere. Our needs were met in every way all day long. Enrico at the front desk was great with making reservations at museums, directions, and suggestions for restaurants. Location is perfect for getting around the city and close to the Arno river for scenic walks. We would stay here again for a great Florence visit. Bar service was very nice too and had nice snacks for a late afternoon or evening break.

Nice rooms, perfect bed and sheets, nice bathroom and perfect sleep. Perfect place to visit Florence Music Festival ... 10 minutes walking distance, same to centre and few Michelin restaurants. We really enjoyed stay.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a long Europe holiday visiting from Australia. The experience was poor and we would certainly never return for a few reasons: 1) Communication with the hotel prior to our stay was poor and not at all friendly 2) Checkin was a poor experience - staff seem arrogant and unhelpful. I asked if we could get advice on how to get tickets to see Michelangelo’s David and were told that as it was Friday lunchtime the museum office was closed and nothing could be done until Monday. We ignored this advice and went to the museum and were able to see Michelangelos David fortunately. 3) Breakfast was average with limited hot food choice and again, rude staff 4) Dinner in the hotel restaurant was average and we were one of only two tables on a Saturday night....... 5) We asked for desert on a Sunday and were told the restaurant was closed. We ordered fruit salad as per the room service menu and received a bowl of poor quality fruit which we returned. (See pic) We were very disappointed with the experience, paying so much for what should have been a lovely time.
