This was the first hotel we stayed in Italy and it was well run. From front desk staff who were professional and helpful to the individuals at the bar who could make a proper dirty martini. Even the cleaning staff greeted us and made you feel special. This is a well oiled machine. I wish I could have used the roof top pool but it was kind of cool outside...the only thing that the hotel needs is a hot tub. But this hotel is on their game...

When we arrived in Florence the beginning of the month, we were very disappointed with the hotel we originally booked--it was far away from all the major sights--and we decided to try to rebook another hotel that same day. Fortunately, we were able to get a room at the Plaza Lucchesi. It more than exceeded our expectations! We were given a magnificent two story suite--calling it simply a "room" would not do it justice! We had a fabulous view of the Arno River, and the location of the hotel itself was amazing--walking distance to just about everything! And then, there was the rooftop pool/lounge area. We so much enjoyed drinks and the buffet up there, with the spectacular nighttime view of Florence! Will most definitely return to this hotel if/when we return to Florence!

This hotel has the best and greatest view of the city. People climb up hills just to try to get this view, and here you get it with a roof top bar!!!! The room was beautiful and had its own balcony. The staff was so helpful! The concierge got us skip the line tickets to see the David, so worth it. I'd stay here again!!

This hotel is a 10 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Its right on the water but quieter then closer locations. The rooms are a reasonable size and there is a great terrace on the roof to go have a drink in the evening. It has views all around the city. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff especially the concierges were extremely helpful.

This hotel is very elegant, located right on the Arno, giving you access to all of the things you need to see while in Florence including the Uffizi, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, Mercato Centrale, but most importantly, a chance to cross over the Arno and see the Piazalle Michangelo and experience the beautiful views. Florence was VERY CROWDED while we were there, it was refreshing to cross over the Arno where there were beautiful restaurants and fewer crazed tourists. This hotel is fantastic, great rooftop pool where we enjoyed our Aperol Spritz' each night as we recovered from our 10 mile walks. Rooms are well appointed, there was a band that played each evening at the roof top bar, lots of fun!
