Reviews for Relais Santa Croce
This hotel was the second stop for me and my husband's Italian honeymoon. I'm so glad we chose this hotel as it was so lovely, chic and beautiful. The location in Florence is convenient, it's on a quiet street but still within walking distance to Santa Croce Church, the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery and across the river to Piazza Michaelangelo. It also houses Enoteca Pinchiorri - which is a 3 star Michelin restaurant. This was easy since we had a reservation the second night and were able to get back to our hotel quite easily. Room: SO cute and chic - yellow painted walls with black wooden panels/trim. The room was spacious and had a balcony where we could see the church. There was a bench by the bed so we could put our luggage, as well as a dressing area for additional luggage and full length mirrors. To the side of the bed was a desk area for my husband to set up his work area. Service: Amazing. They had welcome pastries for us, notating that this was our honeymoon as well as a personalized greeting card. Our hotel rate included the breakfast buffet which was delicious. The servers were always friendly and helpful. If we are ever in Florence again, we would stay here in a heartbeat. Thank you again Relais Santa Croce!

The building is beautiful and well located on the eastern part of the old city (5 min by walk to Santa Croce church and less than 10 minutes to Palazzo Vecchio). Service has been nice all along our journey. Rooms are pretty large and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Unfortunately there is no iron available due to risks of fire and need to use the laundry if you want to iron your clothes. Within few hours they can give you back your clothes but need to anticipate a bit and can't wait until the last moment to decide to iron your clothes. Our rate included breakfasts to which I would say I have a bit disappointed for a 5 star hotel. I was expecting something more innovative and with more local food than a "standard" continental breakfast. In any case our stay has been a great moment and we will be happy to enjoy again this wonderful palazzo. By the way, there are 2 restaurants in this hotel, one which belongs to the hotel itself (Guelfi & Ghibellini) and a second one located at the ground floor of the hotel but independent from it named Enoteca Pinchiorri which is a 3 star Michelin.

We stayed at the Relais Santa Croce in early July. The hotel has loads of character and is beautifully decorated, well maintained and immaculately clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A special mention to Valerio who ensured that we were treat to 2 amazing meals in the hotel restaurant. We have been fortunate to eat in some nice restaurants over the years but I can honestly say this was the best service we have ever had ... and the food is excellent too! All round - fantastic hotel.
Relais Santa Croce is a wonderful hotel with great location - all attractions are nearby. Beautiful building - common areas and the room. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. Good breakfast with decent selection of high quality food. Room rates are very reasonable and I do believe Relais Santa Croce Hotel is a very good alternative to Four Season's or St Regis. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience - warm welcome, professional services, attentive and smiley personnel, great room with the fantastic view- everything was perfect. We have received recommendations on the dining, coffee and lunch place,s our car was parked, room ready early... it felt good and it's a pleasure to share this feedback with the demanding customers
