Reviews for Relais Santa Croce
Beautiful lobby and great staff. Was very disappointed at the condition of the bathroom. It is in desperate need of a renovation. The shower was very small and water didn't drain resulting in water accumulating and overflowing. Water stains were throughout the back. Arriving for breakfast in the morning had only a few tables occupied but there was not a clean table to sit at. Dirty tables needed to be cleared and although it was only 9:30 AM, there was a lack of food and the fruit was not ripe. Upon checking out, we were given a gift of soaps as an apology. Relais Santa Croce is in a great location but not worth the high price of a 5 star hotel.

This was our first time in Florence and we enjoyed our stay at Relais Santa Croce. Most of the staff was very attentive, from the handwritten note we received in our room at check in to the gracious assistance with directions etc. I will say that housekeeping at this level of hotel should be more attentive, such as re-stocking glasses and water in the room. The location was excellent and I would ask for a room with the small patio on the 3rd floor. I would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

As always, arriving at the Relais Santa Croce is like coming home to Florence. From the staff (Cosimo, Flora, Annalinda(?), Cristopher, Raphael) and I know I have forgotten many others made our stay perfect. Nothing could have been better, from check in, to housekeeping, to booking tours, and restaurant reservations they were first class. Already miss all of you. Couldn't recommend more highly.
We really enjoyed this beautiful hotel. Very close to everything and amazing service. Nothing but great things to say. We stayed in the Junior suite room 308. It is spectacular with a beautiful terrace and lots of space. Anna was a great help and we can't say enough good things about her. Thank you for making our trip memorable.
