My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon this week. I must say that for a beautiful, clean property our stay overall was rather disappointing. Our air conditioning was freezing and when it was reported, the maintenance worker's solution was to completely shut it off rather than fixing the unit so that we would be able to adjust the thermostat to our comfort level. It was obvious that there was little to no communication between the front desk and maintenance department. We barely received a thorough apology other than a front desk supervisor offering a breakfast voucher which we were able to choose ONE item from the menu with. This was definitely not the honeymoon experience that we were looking forward to. The property is in a prime location and the rooms are extremely clean, customer service on the other hand needs some work! P.S. My husband and I are both Front Office managers in The Bahamas.

The manicure and pedicure was absolutely amazing. The woman who was doing my nails, Hyacinth, was incredibly nice, funny, and good to talk to. While there is not a huge selection of gel nail colors, they are all beautiful. I would come back here for a manicure and pedicure for sure, and of course recommend to others.

We stayed 5 nights and had great service. The housekeeping services we experienced were great and they even offered turn down service. We used the refrigerator and small kitchenette to save a bit of money on meals. We ate in the pool bar twice while lounging at the pool and found the service, prices and quality of food good. The young lady managing the pool bar was exceptional and very cheerful and helpful. We didn't like the bed as it was pretty soft but that's probably personal taste. The internet is not that great there so use caution if you feel you may need that as a necessity. For just getting email and texts it's ok but we found it a bit spotty at times. The location is right across the road from the public beach. It's an area that doesn't have a lot of parking so we found this part of the beach not as crowded as other areas to the south. There is no resort fee as most hotels charge in the area. We rented loungers and an umbrella on the beach in front of the hotel for $48 a day for my wife and I. They do have parking there at the hotel but we elected to try to go without a car and walk/Lyft instead. Most areas by the beach charge to park the car even on the public beach. The hotel charge was $32 a day I think. We found the hotel well situated with plenty of places to eat/light grocery shopping within 1/2 to 3/4 a mile. If you have small kids a car may be s strong consideration. We enjoyed walking down the beach people watching on our way to lunch/dinner and mostly ate breakfast in the room using the kitchenette. There's a micro-wave so on the nights we didn't go out you could make popcorn for a movie if desired. The hotel charges in the area of $18 for an in-room movie so best to perhaps bring something with you. A Starbucks is not far down the road along with a CVS and 7Eleven. We would stay again and had great service.

We stayed at the Atlantic Hotel and Spa in Fort Lauderdale for seven nights in June 2017. The hotel is in a great location, right on Central Beach, just steps from the ocean. Our Oceanfront King Studio was fantastic. Awesome views, clean, well appointed kitchenette, I really could go on and on. The best part is that every single interaction we had with the Atlantic staff was tremendous. The team truly cares about providing a great guest experience and it showed! Everyone went out of their way to not only provide great service, but to anticipate our needs. Whether it was their job or not, they said hello, opened doors, fetched hotel provided beach towels, and more! Every staff member we ran into constantly asked if their was anything else they could do to serve up a great experience. This is now our 'go to' place to stay in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks Atlantic team--for a great vacation week!!

Me and my family just came back from an absolutely amazing Vacation from Florida. We stayed in various hotels since it was a 4 week long trip. The only hotel we were disappointed with is the Atlantic, fort lauderdale. We stayed in the suite ,the check in was smooth ,the front dest is friendly ,Jerome at the concierge was very helpful. I think the hotel has a non existent house keeping department. The suite is carpeted but the areas like the bathroom and the walkway have marble flooring ,which i think have never been mopped. The balcony was filthy. My kids slept on the sofa bed, on day 1 the bed wasnt made even after a request ,the quilt was left without a cover on a chair ,i think they expect the guests to take care of the housekeeping services. Our stay lasted 5 nights ,and i had to call to ask them to make the bed every single night ,by the end of it i had to cover the quilt and make the bed.The location is very good ,but the hotel needs a major overhaul on the inside ,the hotel website is very impressive but the inside is very dull , the walkways leading to the room are dark and stuffy . The restaurant had a nice vibe ,the valet service is efficient and the lobby staff friendly .The housekeeping is an extremely sore spot and takes away from the rest of the experience.
