Location: On the Beach in Ft Lauderdale. To far to walk to Las Olas but Uber made it very convenient to get to Las Olas. The hotel is beautiful. High end decor, beautiful bathroom much nicer than my Bathroom at home. The rooms are huge, the bathroom was huge, Easily double the size of most other resorts. We had one problem at check in. The room safe did not work. They came up immediately and tried to fix it. Steve from Security was great. He was aware of how exhausted we were from the long 14 hour flight that we just came from and he saw we were anxious to lie down for a nap before dinner and he took control of the situation and when the safe did not look like it would be fixed any time soon by the technician that he called in he arranged for our room to be changed and even helped us move our things and got us new keys. Steve made us feel like the staff at The Atlantic resort really cares and aims to keep the customers satisfied. Most of the staff we met from the Valet guys to the Bellman to the desk were so helpful and respond to requests immediately. Great coffee and tea in the room. My only Negative about the hotel is that it is misrepresented on (the site we booked the room from). when you book says "All Fees Included" in the final price. Then after you book the room you find out that it really does not include all fees. There is a $35 a day resort fee and a $35 a day Valet Parking Fee. I thought that was allot to charge and that it is a hidden fee when you book through Not sure who is at fault here, Either the Hotel or

Overall visit was good. The room space was nice, but the furniture shows a lot of small damage and needs an overhaul. There's also a lack of working plugs in the room which made things slightly difficult. The staff was very nice and helpful. One problem that we encountered is that we were given room keys for a room that was already occupied! When I went with my family to finally check in after a long day of travelling, I unlocked the door and it was stopped (thankfully!) by the lock-chain thing. So the door opened enough to have the current tenants say "HELLO!?". I tried to explain that we were given the same room as them and apologized profusely. My young daughter was pretty upset by this whole thing as she was already really tired and just wanted to go to bed. We went back down to the front desk to talk to them, and the man in the room came too (he said his room had no towels or soaps). The man said he was having an anniversary stay with his wife and that they had just been checked in about 5 minutes before we were, by the same person. I don't know how that kind of thing happens. The clerk gave us one morning of breakfast vouchers for our troubles. Again though the hotel met our requirements but I don't think we'll stay there again. I doubt this kind of thing happens very often but once was enough for me.

I had an eight floor ocean front room with a kitchenette rented from the owner for one week. The views of the ocean is second to none. The Hotel Lobby is out dated and needs updating but my rented room was in fairly good shape - classic furniture and a good mattress with a large shower. The location suited my needs away from the crowds in a quiet area but restaurants, shopping mall and grocery within walking distance. The $1.00 trolley every 45 minutes is there if you need a lift to and from the hotel. Staff are friendly and won't bother you unless you need them. Rented between Christmas and New Year at the last minute so the cost was inflated to for the Christmas period by the owner . Room ready one hour later but front desk treated me to a glass of wine at the pool area which kept me occupied till they finished cleaning.

Visited the Spa for a massage. Cornelia my masseuse was great and I experienced probably one of the best massages I have ever had. I enjoyed the amenities. My only disappointment was in the past when I visited you were provided a glass of bubbly and apparently they stopped doing that. However, it wont deter me from a future visit.

Nice hotel, nothing fancy. Location is great, pool area is very simple, no umbrellas, no music, no palm trees, etc. Beach chairs are $15/each at the beach, you can charge to your room. No night life at the hotel really, quiet and simple. Older hotel compared to the W, Westin, Conrad which are next door.
