The staff at the pool was amazing, Gina and Rick help find you chairs so you’re not searching for one. And they’re constantly searching for chair that people have left. So they can set it up for the next guest, very friendly. Great view of the beach and relaxing lazy river. They’re also some iguanas lounging around, but they leave you alone. They just like to sunbathe also.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort over a long weekend. We were in town for a local event, so didn't get to spend as much time at the beach as we would have liked, but did get to enjoy the pool and lazy river, which were very clean and inviting. Staff member, Rick, could not have been nicer, he made you feel like you were a part of the family. He wouldn't let me put my towel down on my chair because he said I was on vaca and he could do all the work. Very sweet! Other hotel staff we encountered were also friendly, and their text service for the valet was very helpful. Our suite was beautiful, we loved the balcony view and the living room we could relax in. The beds were very comfortable, too. Our one major issue was the shower, the water was scaulding hot no matter how you adjusted the temperature, on our 2nd day the handle broke off and we had to shove it back on to adjust the nozel. Even then, we only had hot water. We texted staff about this, but never heard back from them, so we alerted the front desk at checkout. This was our only negative during out stay. We had a lovely breakfast on the terrace and really appreciated the infused water at the front desk. The hotel is in a great location as well, on the beach and close to many great restaurants and shops. We are looking forward to returning to the Pelican Grand the next time we're in Fort Lauderdale.

My husband and I stayed at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort for our 21st anniversary and we are already planning our 22nd! It was a wonderful experience very peaceful and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The two ladies at the front desk were especially helpful!! Honestly, we went off the resort a few times and were so glad to get back. It felt like we were coming home again haha! I can’t say enough about this resort! Wonderful experience!

This resort has EVERYTHING you can think of for a relaxing very chill getaway. The staff was amazing the bartenders were phenomenal and Rick the pool attendant was the sweetest and hooked us up w/ the chairs for our group... Definitely going back !!!

Overall a huge disappointment! Dated worn room conditions. The linens (towels sheets and blanket were torn and worn out ! Management promised a room comp and after a lengthy review and conversation we did not get charges dropped as promised. This reflects on the overall integrity of management. The pool was unavailable due to a lengthy wait list. Honestly the overall quality was poor, overpriced and dated.
