Hotel offers only suits with 46 units total so rooms are very limited. Really love my room decoration. Master bath room is huge , bigger than bedroom. Walking closet is so organized with 6 drawers and plenty of spaces . Love it. You can close the door and leave the mess in the closet. Living room has sofa bed. So no problem if you have Children. We have problem with the shower , water is very slow and can't take shower at all. We have to call to have it fixed. As this is a five star hotel , we expect hotel should check everything works before guest checks in. Also hotel does not include free breakfast. For this price tag , I certainly take it for granted breakfast is included. Plus not too many selections , but my sunny side up is Great. Staffs are very friendly ! I would love to stay at this hotel next time as I enjoy the well decorated rooms.

outrageous price for what they offer. But such is the entire place. Forte dei Marmi is a russian colony and locals squeeze visitor's pockets shamefully. With the same price you get a nice holiday in Sardinia, and the seaside is MUCH better

We are paying 1300 euro per night for this glorified version Courtyard by Marriot. The mattresses are impossible to sleep on, the cheap plastic shower head is covered by some dark brown staff and is not working properly, there is nearly not enough storage space in the room, let alone the bathroom. Granted it is Forte Dei Margie and we have not seen the other hotels in in town, but their 60 days cancelation policy leaves us trapped in this ....hall. Best vacation ever....

First of all for a 5-star hotel the amenities are pretty shabby / tired and, in my opinion, below a 5-star standard. Second, and more important, the hotel was not accommodating when it came to any type of problem. We booked a suite and a classic room. Upon arrival we realized it was too much space. Hotel offered to switch the suite to a smaller room but not refund the difference. There was a dispute with breakfast charge. Our itinerary clearly stated breakfast included, but the staff produced a 20-page email trail proving otherwise. No accommodation was made. We booked a boat for the day. Leaving the harbor it became obvious to all that we could not continue because the water was too rough. My 2 kids were terrified... We were assured the refund will be made. It was not. As a matter of fact, we were overcharged, because the hotel included a transfer which was paid for separately in cash. Again, the hotel refused to make accommodation. We had a beach cabana booked every day. There were 2 days we took excursions and canceled the cabana a day before. The refund was not made. By the way, their beach club is 1 km away from the hotel. Not terrible but on the daily basis becomes a drag. Technically, the hotel did nothing wrong, you might say, but overall experience was very disappointing. At 3000 euro / day one would expect more.
