why forte dei marmi is so popular? they do not have caribbean or sardinian beaches but ...they have places like this on top of amazing beach clubs. Augustus is exactly one of the reasons why forte is so popular and famous. the hotel has plenty of understatement (differently from other kuxury hotels in Forte) and at the same time has a great service. the rooms are decent (not whoa factor but more of a classic five stars room). the beach club is the best part of the experience. apart from the attentive service and the nice cabanas it has also a very good restaurant where to enjoy lazy lunches on the beach with a serious selection of the best italian cuisine, nothing too much innovative but very good food and ingredients. breakfast at the hotel is also outstanding. Augustus hotel represents the quintessence of Forte dei Marmi . it is an excellent hotel (and not too much of a show off). will be back for sure. ps. just pity that during summer period it is not possible to book it for week ends only,

2nd year running and again a wonderful experience. Staff are outstanding and some of the friendliest and most efficient you'll find anywhere in the world. Everything is meticulously clean and tidy and the main Hotel Augustus oozes old world charm but is wonderfully relaxed and unpretentious. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for 5* luxury without the pretensions.

Augustus was our last destination this summer; it was the best and definitely an unforgettable stay. i was with my husband and our 3 kids and they all loved it; exactly what we all needed for a quality family time. Augustus has a beautiful and charming spirit. we stayed at one of the villas which was so calm and comfortable. We will definitely visit again next summer with a more prolonged period of stay.

Augustus Hotel sold us a superior room as a junior suite. We discovered this in the room, because it was very small room with two separated beds.... The start was awfull! That is cheating!!!! The breakfast was almost nothing and just one person could understand english! That is not relaxing!!! Bevor we went to the breakfast, we put on the door " Do don't disturb" After 5 min my boyfriend went to the room to bring my Mobile, he saw people inside our room!!!!! That is not acceptable!!! After all we just wanted to relax on the beach for 1 hour, but it was not possible because we have to pay for the beach chairs and so on!!! We paid for one night 820 Euro and then we should pay on top for the beach!??? So if want to relax in your holiday think please twice about your hotel decision!
