Room, food, staff, private beach, sailing and the 'All Inclusive Deal' excellent: For a 4* hotel (BA Holidays rating) it was great and easy to award a 5* TripAdvisor rating : we will return in 2018. The only negative was the seaweed in the sea although the hotel staff did an excellent job in keeping the beach clean.

This was our second family holiday at the Nonsuch Bay Resort, and frankly, I'm torn about writing a raving review because this place is a best-kept-secret. But write it I must. We are a family of 6, and the staff, yet again, have proven to be the friendliest we've found in our global travels. There is an air-conditioned van that collects you from the airport (we travelled with Virgin). About 40 min ride. We were welcomed with cool towels, rum punch and huge smiles. The suites are clean and have all amenities, including washer (bring your own laundry powder), iron, kettle, fridge (it's a full working kitchen). We were on the all-inclusive, which is well worth it. A wide variety of food - including lots of fruit and veg for health buffs like me. The restaurant staff is first rate, especially Schena, Avella, Karen, Charmaine, Chris and Marcelle. They were smiling and very attentive. Our kids (9, 12, 14, 19) enjoyed the inclusive watersports/sailing every day, sometimes multiple times per day. We took an inclusive boat trip to Green Island to snorkel (2 hours). Natasha runs the kids club and welcomes guests - you're sure to get a hug and a smile from her. Shakimba in watersports will look after your kids brilliantly, teaching them to sail (and pushing their boundaries if they're already experienced). The white sandy beach is small, but immaculately kept (occasionally when it's windy, the seaweed washes in, but that's the reality of being situated on this side of the island - the upside is you get wind for sailing). Marcus, the island's smiliest beach attendant, comes around during the day to take drink orders (at no additional cost). Try the guava smoothies! David is at the bar - make sure you ask him for his own concoctions. We especially loved his Antiguan Delight. There is a BBQ dinner on Thursdays, and other evenings, the dinner menu changes every 2 nights. Take smart-ish clothes, but long pants rule was not enforced (often it felt too warm for long trousers anyway). People wear polo shirts, shorts, sandals; sundresses. Breakfast and lunch are buffet-style. They also serve afternoon tea (a cake/sandwich) around 4pm. This is NOT the place to go if you love pumping night life and lots of action. There may be a live Caribbean band once a week, and there is nothing going on in the evenings - just how we like it. We like the intimate, quiet, totally relaxing environment, and once the steel drums have finished, it's just the tree frogs. There is a small convenience shop in case you run out of nappies, suncream, or want snacks or packaged food to prep in your room. They also sell big bottles of water for your room. There are also books in the rooms in case you read through all your own. And last, but not least, WiFi is really good (and included) in the rooms. It's a bit patchier on the beach. A lovely gem of a place - just keep it quiet, will you? Wink, wink.

We have just returned from 10 nights at Nonsuch Bay. Staying on an all inclusive basis we were met at the airport and transferred to the resort ( about at 40 Min journey) From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a cold towel and a rum punch. The staff are all very friendly. Meals were buffet style breakfast and lunch and a la carte dinner. Food menu changes every other day and was fabulous with plenty of choice. I celebrated my 50th Birthday here and they left a bottle of wine and a fruit platter in our room. At dinner that evening we had flowers on the table and staff sang Happy Birthday to me with my plate decorated and a candle in my dessert. It was a really lovely touch. Deluxe suite was beautiful and 3 rows back from the beach, spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. Views and all three pools were gorgeous , although the one in restaurant was closed at meal times and a great deal cooler than the other two. The resort is a little far out and it does cost approx. 80 USD to get around or you can hire a car. A free trip to Green Island is offered on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am and 1pm and is worth a trip , beautiful desert island , lovely to laze on the sand and in the warm sea with the fishes swimming around you. There are no amenities on Green Island and the boat returns for you about 2 hours later. Paradise. Many thanks to all the amazing staff for making our stay so wonderful ,they are always smiling and work so hard.

We have just returned from a fortnight at Nonsuch Bay. We found the hotel welcoming, personal and everything we wanted it to be....and more. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite which was very spacious and met the needs of a family of 5 perfectly. So handy to be able to make a cup of tea, sit on the balcony and read when you wanted to get out of the sun! Very clean and lovely comfortable beds with top quality linens.Great sleep so important to us on holiday! The food at the resort is excellent, plenty of choice and being Coeliac, I was looked after superbly including homemade gluten free pancakes for breakfast, Drinks - great choice Watersports - fantastic and all included. Our kids LOVED the sailing and tuition was excellent. We hired a car for 4 days and loved seeing the island. So glad we were all inclusive though as the rest of the island is expensive!! Overall, a brilliant holiday and Nonsuch is very good value for money The staff are second to none and make Nonsuch the fantastic place it is. The restaurant staff were particular brilliant - Schenna and Vincent especially. Natasha (runs kids/teens activities) you are a star. David and Everton at the bar - patient maestros. If you are looking for a large hotel with numerous restaurants and nightlife this is not the place for you.If you want relaxation and a personal lovely hotel come here.

Our family has just returned from staying 11 nights at the fabulous Nonsuch Bay Resort. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis, and the quality of all the meals and service exceeded our expectations. Hiring a car is beneficial, as this allows you to discover Antigua, and is more practical/cheaper than hiring taxi's. Half Moon Bay, Darkwood Beach and Shirley Heights on Sunday evening are especially worth experiencing. The staff at the hotel provide a personal touch to all aspects of the hotel service, being both friendly and professional. Special mention to Ruth, Marcelle and Cheryl at the resort and to Lesley who runs the sailing facilities so brilliantly. If you are looking for a quiet location, to just relax and unwind, and enjoy your fine-dining, this is a perfect choice. We stayed in a Two Bedroom Deluxe Suite,on the second floor of the second tier, which had a great view of the sea and was fitted out to a higher standard, providing great space for our family. It is not surprising that the resort receives such consistently favourable reviews, as they are thoroughly deserved.
