We chartered a sailboat for a few weeks and decided to anchored just a few hundred yards off shore from this resort. We dinghied in to their small yet perfectly protected harbour. Having called ahead to book dinner reservations, we we're well received and able to visit and spend some time lounging on their beautiful private beach before dinner. We we're invited for pre-dinner drinks with the staff and guests as well. Dinner location and food was outstanding. No wonder many yachtsmen come here and later simply book and stay here. Also many guests return... Love it.

The most wonderful week! Nonsuch went above and beyond, ticking all our boxes; the food (particularly exceptional), the facilities, the accommodation, the service, we honestly couldn’t have wished for more. As new parents we were desperate to get away (to feel normal again) but terrified about doing it. Nonsuch gave us the rest bite we needed with unbelievable childcare (for our 3 month old baby) meaning we had time to ourselves. I would highly recommend especially if you can squeeze in one of the hotels complementary trips to Green Island (utter heaven). I can’t wait to go back, with or without children, it’s the most fantastic and comfortable resort.

We have been in Antigua & St Lucia sailing, we had 2 nights in one of the big resorts (BW) it was a bit like Disney not quite real definitely not very Caribbean. We arrived in St Lucia ready to see the sights from the sea & do a bit of sailing with friends, we rented a boat from Moorings & visited St Vincent, Bequia & the Tabgo Cays that was beautiful, swimming with turtles & BBQ on the beach, I have never seen Lobesters as big. It was a hard sail back into the wind 9 hours plus, not a lot of fun. We arrived back in Antigua a little sceptical about going to Nonsuch bay resort after our first experience of a resort BW, we should not have worried the resort is fantastic, the food is excellent the rooms are wonderful & the staff are all brilliant, thank you so much Nonsuch Bay we will definitely be back.

Words cannot describe how perfect our time was at Non Such Bay. We hosted our destination wedding and ultimately a vacation for 40 guests. My review is lengthy and I gush about all of the amazing things, but if you read just this - know that you will not be disappointed here. Antigua is an amazing island and the staff at Non Such will show you how amazing and special this island truly is. Go and experience all that the island and the resort has to offer. From planning our wedding to unfortunately when we had to say goodbye, the resort and staff exceeded any and all expectations we had. My review begins and ends with the people at Non Such Bay. My husband and I had the misfortune of originally booking our wedding at Sandals - but due to the fact that they were shutting down temporarily and terrible customer service we found ourselves scrambling to find a new venue. My first phone call with Non Such to talk about switching our guests was with Joyette. From the very first conversation I had with Joyette, who became our wedding coordinator, I knew Non Such was the right venue for our wedding and vacation. The location, somewhat secluded, and boutique-feel was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for. The resort itself is about a 35-45 minute ride from the airport. I thought this perfectly fine and actually appreciated that it was away from the main resort area. It felt more special. Also due to where the resort is located, it's perfect for sailing, with a constant breeze. Honestly, for me, this was great because I never felt it was ever too hot. Even on the wedding day in my somewhat traditional wedding dress - I was never hot. As for the resort itself, there is new construction going on, but that is far enough away that there is no impact to the current resort. The rooms, or rather apartments are gorgeous. We had the luxury of staying in a beachfront 2 bedroom suite. The locations of the pools are well placed so that at each level there is a nearby pool. One downside if any of the pools is that the main pool near the restaurant is often closed as you cannot go in during meal hours - so there is a limited window. There's only one restaurant, but I was not left wanting more or felt missing out. I enjoyed every meal I had. The wedding meal in particular was amazing - one of the entrees in particular, goat curry was spectacular. Really big kudos to the Chef! The one thing anyone should be mindful of is that you should not expect this to be one of those crazy all-inclusive style resorts with 15 restaurants and never ending piles of food. The one thing here was I wish there were more snack-style items included - whether that be just fruit, cookies, or what have you. You could purchase snack items, but even if the bar had nuts or chips, that would make it that much better (in my opinion). Quite frankly though I was never all that hungry but something I could see making it excel that much more. Planning for the wedding: For those who are potentially looking to have an event here read this. Joyette was our main point of contact throughout the entire booking, wedding and trip. With our first initial contact, we had immediately connected. Her jovial and gregarious personality shown throughout our planning process. Joyette from a wedding planner/project manager was great. She was responsive and helpful with any and all questions I had, and set my mind at ease. We worked really well together, she pushed me to make decisions and became a great thought partner, making sure the whole vacation and wedding experience would meet our goals and expectations, as well as our guests. I must say that throughout the approximately 6 month process, she made me feel like I was her only client. I was able to build such a high a level of trust with Joyette that even though I had not met her, I truly trusted that she simply got me and knew what I wanted. And wow - she really did. Upon arrival: We were picked up by Jason at the airport. It was a very smooth process - he was there waiting for us as we exited the customs area from the airport. The trip from the airport to the resort took about ~35 minutes. Upon arriving at the resort, Joyette and other members from the resort were there waiting for us! We were treated with a cool scented towel (peppermint), which was quite lovely, and a drink (we chose prosecco, but our guests who had arrived later in the week had mostly chosen rum punch). The entire check-in process was efficient and quick. Because of our arrival time, Joyette made sure we were able to have lunch (I chose some of the food options and the restaurant team had packed up a plate for us to take to our cottage). Wedding itself: Was everything and more. Myself, my sister, mom and grandmother all got our hair and makeup done on the verandah of my suite overlooking the beach. It was perfection. The ceremony itself was great, but the star was the reception. We hosted it at one of the resorts privately owned villas. The drinks were flowing, the music was amazing and the setting was beyond what I could have imagine. I must say too that I had a vision for our centerpieces and Joyette and the rest of the staff were key in executing - they worked to take some of the leaves from the resort itself to incorporate into the centerpieces. For me, I love to DIY and party plan and this was really special to be able to incorporate my style - and aspects of the resort itself into the wedding. This was by no means a cookie-cutter wedding or venue. The day went by so fast and we never wanted it to end. Also, I must say DJ Nez was great!!! The rest of our trip: Every one of our guests had a great time. There was something for everyone at the resort. There was water activities that you could do. Or if you just wanted to relax you could do that. We took advantage of the Green Island trip twice and wow that should not be missed! I feel sorry I cannot recall everyone at the resorts names. But I must say that my grandmother in particular loved Marcus, the beach attendant. He was fantastic - consistently bringing us water and drinks on the beach and even on the verandah while we were getting our hair and makeup done. For whatever your style - whatever you're looking for - Non Such is right for you. I cannot wait to come back!

We stayed as a family of four during UK February half-term, which was also our 20-year wedding anniversary. All of the reasons why we chose NonSuch bay came up trumps. We had such a fantastic week and were so well looked after by all of the staff. They are all a real credit to the hotel. Not to mention the immaculate accommodation and stunning location. We couldn’t have made a better choice for our special week, or wished for a better stay. Yes it was really breezy the first couple of days, but it helped us acclimatise and we took reception's sound advice to use the early part of the week for our first excursion to the west coast. The food was lovely, probably the best we've had for an all-inclusive resort. Lovely fresh omelettes for breakfast, a la carte evening meals, fantastic BBQ night and special Valentine's dinner. Pre-dinner drinks in the bar overlooking the bay always went down a treat, especially Everton's surprise refills! The restaurant managers were always welcoming and friendly at meal times. The staff looked after my husband's gluten free food requirements and were proactive sorting out options for him at breakfast, afternoon tea and for the evening meal; nothing was too much trouble. Sampson was also very hard working and polite serving us refreshing drinks on the beach and lower pool. Likewise, the water sports guys were so professional and attentive. Our youngest daughter (12) had such a memorable first sailing lesson with Mikey and wished him well for his Caribbean 600 sailing race. Denise also looked after Caitlin with some tlc, after she sustained a minor foot injury on Green Island caused by some glass at the back of the beach (which a past, inconsiderate visitor had obviously left behind, no fault of anyone else). The Green Island snorkelling and the speedboat transfers were brilliant and as good as other reviews - we went twice and saw two turtles, a ray and lots of different fish, particularly around the amazing coral. The inclusive minibus transfers, courtesy of Vernon's taxis, were on time, efficient and friendly. We also had the same driver (Jason) for our half-day trip to St John's and Betty's Hope. He was so accommodating and knowledgeable that we booked him again for a trip to Devil's Bridge, Nelson's Dockyard and up to Shirley Height's for the sunset. Another great tour, with some good, fun conversation and useful facts. It then transpired his band was playing at our hotel that evening. Unbeknown to us, the restaurant staff had arranged a surprise duet at our table (All of me by John Legend) to mark our wedding anniversary, courtesy of the band's fantastic female singer.....and Jason! Uncanny, but we all laughed about it and Jason really did help make our holiday. Overall, we had the most amazing week and we would have no hesitation returning or recommending the hotel to family and friends. Yes, as some were saying, the hotel has more potential and could a few extra touches to improve even further (e.g. beach bar, toilets near the pools, drinks refills in the fridge) but we would not want any expansion to risk the warm charm and friendly, efficient service at this lovely hotel. We hope we will return in years to come!
