Great staff. But the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations. Hopefully they are now all completed . The bar staff were fantastic , they made up cocktails that were not on the menu for us.

We had a wonderful New Year in this beautiful hotel - with amazing Team that run it.. special mention to Finn - he is a great ambassador for the Hotel - as is Rachael, Jack , Joanna and of course Lucia... and all of the staff - everyone was so friendly .. Hotel was spotless - great ambiance in the Hotel... Food excellent... Room amazing .. Dr Brian was very happy with his surprise of chocs and processo.. Many Thanks to all.... We shall be returning very soon...

Your reviews The G Hotel & Spa Galway, Ireland 2 night couple stay January 2026 We stayed at this hotel for two nights after getting married on New Year’s Eve, so it was meant to be a special stay. On arrival, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade and prosecco, which we really appreciated and were grateful for. The room was lovely. Unfortunately, from there the experience went downhill. We were told the complimentary prosecco would be served in the lounge, but after waiting around 20 minutes with no sign of it, we had to ask again before it finally arrived. Breakfast service was particularly disappointing. Staff repeatedly forgot our order, and we had to remind them more than once, which made what should have been a relaxing morning quite frustrating. To make matters worse, we were overcharged on our card upon checkout. We’ve since been unable to get a clear explanation as to why and are still struggling to obtain a refund, which has left a very sour final impression. Given the issues with service and the ongoing billing problem, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again, especially for what was meant to be such a special occasion. Update: We since got a refund for the over charge payment and for breakfast.

We stayed at the G Hotel for three days in early January. We found our rooms very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfasts every morning. When we arrived, the heating in our room was not working, but this was resolved immediately by the excellent Guest Experience Manager, Lucia Sepelova, who found another equally nice room for us immediately. Lucia is a great asset to the hotel and the fact that we would stay again is mainly due to how Lucia addressed our issue.

Me and my partner booked this hotel for a one night stay, we were absolutely blown away by everything and acctually booked a second night, the service from we got to the front door by the amazing staff to the beautiful decor and the bedroom was the most luxurious room ever! The bed and shower were the best we’ve both ever used! Highly highly recommend!! Special shout out to receptionist Jack Murphy he is an absolute gentleman who goes above and beyond at his job! ⭐️🙌🏻 can’t wait to return!!
