Hotel d'Angleterre, Geneva

We loved this hotel mostly for the impeccable service. The staff anticipated our every need, want and whim. Truly unbelievable how they knew what we might need or want even before we could ask. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our complementary upgrade to a spacious and very well appointed Superior room was a bonus. The hotel restaurant is not to be missed, with excellent food (my monkfish with citrus risotto was simply perfect), service and views of the lakefront and fountain. We have travelled all over the world, and stayed in some of the best boutique/luxury hotels (Belmond, Baglionni, Rosewood, etc.). The Hotel D’Angleterre in Geneva tops the list for service, and is at least equal in comfort. We would not dream of staying anywhere else in Geneva, and look forward to finding her sister hotels in other cities.

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at this hotel in Geneva and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience. The hotel’s attention to detail is remarkable. Every aspect of the property is thoughtfully maintained, creating an atmosphere of comfort, elegance, and relaxation. The location is beautiful and convenient, making it the perfect base for exploring Geneva while enjoying a peaceful and luxurious setting. My room was immaculate spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The housekeeping team clearly takes great pride in their work, and every detail contributed to a feeling of quality and care. The amenities were excellent, offering everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. From the well-equipped room to the hotel’s facilities, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were truly outstanding. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond made all the difference. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, and it was clear that guest satisfaction is a top priority. The hotel also offers fantastic value considering the high level of service, quality accommodations, excellent amenities, and prime location. It is rare to find a property that delivers so consistently across every aspect of the guest experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I look forward to returning and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Geneva and looking for a first-class experience.

What a beautiful hotel we had a truly memorable stay. From the warm welcome by Gilles and Marcio to their thoughtful recommendations throughout, the service was exceptional!! Our lake-view room felt incredibly special, with lovely daily touches and thoughtful from housekeeping. One evening we dined at “Le 17” which was a highlight for me. Romain and his team created a fantastic experience and the stunning Mont Blanc views are unmatched. We even had the pleasure of meeting the sushi chef, who let us in on a few secrets of sushi making which made it all the more unique. A flawless stay from start to finish, I can’t wait to return one day.

My recent two-night stay at Hotel d’Angleterre was nothing short of exceptional. Having stayed in many luxury hotels, I can honestly say this was one of the finest hospitality experiences I have had from start to finish. What immediately stood out was the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the team. Every member of staff was welcoming, kind, and eager to ensure our stay was memorable. Thoughtful touches such as providing swimming coins for access to the lake pier, along with towels and personalised turndown amenities each evening, demonstrated an outstanding level of care and attention to detail. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jeremy, the Hotel Manager, whose passion for hospitality is evident in the exceptional culture he has created. The entire team delivered service that felt both highly professional and genuinely personal. The food and beverage experiences were equally impressive. From the elegant afternoon tea to an unforgettable evening at the Leopard Bar, complete with fantastic live music, every experience exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service was consistently outstanding. A particular highlight was the Executive Suite I was fortunate enough to stay in. Perfect location with breathtaking views overlooking the lake, a calming and sophisticated design, and an abundance of space, it was the kind of suite I could happily have enjoyed for an entire week. A special thank you to Ugo, Lea, Romain Jeremy, both concierges and Gilles, who were particularly outstanding and helped make our stay so memorable. Hotel d’Angleterre delivers true luxury in every sense—beautiful surroundings, exceptional dining, and, most importantly, remarkable people. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva.
