We returned for a second time to stay at the FABULOUS Hotel d' Angleterre for four nights in early March 2017. Our second stay (the first visit was a year ago) was as wonderful an experience as our first. The staff is SO PROFESSIONAL and kind. They can not do enough for you to ensure your complete comfort and happiness. Our room was extremely comfortable and kept clean and tidy by an excellent housekeeping staff, who brought to our room twice daily sweet treats---more than we could eat---that were YUMMY!!! The Windows restaurant was delightful, as well. The service impeccable and the food delicious. There are only two areas that I can see where improvements could be made. Firstly, have larger showers---we spoiled Americans like bigger showers. Secondly, the disco in the lower level of the hotel can be a little disturbing with the base being heard in some rooms. In the room we had this year on the second floor, I did not hear the disco, however, the room we had last year on the first floor was a different story. All of the hotels, outside bars / discos, and the city need to realize that people visiting their city do not want to listen to loud disco music after 10:00 or 11:00 PM or in the early hours of the morning. The d' Angleterre didn't play music that I could hear BUT the outside bar two blocks away was blaring music at 5:00AM. This was ridiculous BUT not the Hotel d' Angleterre's fault---but the city's. Our stay at Hitel d' Angleterre was FABULOUS and we will visit again!!! Staff is SUPERIOR!!!

I was pleasantly surprised with outstanding quality of room design and bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable. I was disappointed they don't have a gym but they give you a pass to an excellent independent gym across the street. I would stay again.

We were a family of four travelling, with children of 4 and 7 respectively. high end travel with children can be very stressful as they can tend to be over stimulated by beautiful places. This hotel took it in its stride. Special thanks to Gilles and Marcio who couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Your attention to detail was just great. The rooms were generous, and we had interleading rooms that made having privacy a pleasure. The hotel itself is very sophisticated, with beautiful artworks in every room and extremely luxurious. Despite this, the staff manage to keep very grounded, and one feels right at home. The breakfast had us cancelling our morning plans as the temptation of just soaking in the morning sun in your breakfast salon was too great. I travel extensively for work, and I was not expecting to find such a treasure on the shores of Lake Geneva. Thank you.

Hotel d'Angleterre, was an amazing experience with children! After a long journey our family of four was welcomed with big smiles and very helpful staff. The welcome drinks; fruit ; small bags of sweets and wrapped presents for our children was so thoughtful and sincere. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are sublime. It was the perfect place to stay to relax and recharge.

Like most hotels in Geneva the Hotel d'Angleterre isn't cheap, in fact it's pretty pricey, but the quality is very good and I particularly liked the staff. Expect to pay around 30 CHF for a cocktail and about 200 CHF a head for dinner including one of the lower priced wines on the list. The atmosphere is much nicer than the Kempinsky next door and it's a great place for a business lunch or dinner, or for drinks in the Leopard Lounge downstairs which had cool live music the night we were there.
