This is a hard hotel to review. The staff at the hotel were without exception amazing, But I did have some issues and I would not stay here again. My room was based above the bin area and the staff seemed happy to move bins and crates around at 12.30 am- waking me and again at 7 am. when you spend 900usd a night one hopes to sleep peacefully. I guess i was just unlucky with my room, but I did not sleep well 2 nights in a row. The second issue... cigar smoke. it appears the hotel has a cigar room at the infamous leopard bar.. unfortunately from 10pm to about 2am this means the AC pumps cigar fumes into the rooms- which was super unpleasant. The hotel feels like it is in dire need of a total refurbishment - yet it has a charm about it. It certainly is not a 5 start hotel- perhaps it was in 1991, but not today.

My husband wanted to take me to a special place that neither of us had yet visited. He chose a surprise three-night celebration at Hotel d'Angleterre. What a fantastic decision! Our suite was beautiful and gave us a lake view with the wind blowing successive rainbows across the mesmerising spray of the Jet d'Eau and Mont Blanc. Dinner in Windows restaurant was a delight and The Leopard Bar provided the perfect beginning and end to our evenings with live music and a cool, relaxed vibe yet attentive service. GM Jean-Vital and his entire team ensured that all our expectations were exceeded at every moment and made our stay truly personal and memorable.

The hotel far exceeded any expectations. The rooms and the service were unbelievable definitely a five star. If you are in the area, it is very centrally located. The quality of the units was top shelf. The staff was very accommodating, and the food was phenomenal

Exemplary service - all staff know your name from point of check in. First class food. Very dog friendly. Amazing location right on lake Geneva. Quiet room and comfortable luxurious bed. Bar appeared to be busy and lively on a Thursday night.

Such a charming hotel with exceptional service!!! I absolutely loved staying here, and originally was only staying one night, but ended up booking more nights just because it was a top experience with regard to the staff. The location is ideal, you are in front of the famous Geneva water feature, and they off a restaurant on the premises that is called, The Window, for good apparent reason. It is positioned perfectly to frame Lake Geneva and it’s glorious fountain.
