We stayed during a medikal european event for 5 nights with a small medical doctor group. With its location, elegant architecture, it impressed all our guests and us of course. Just 8-10 minutes walking distance to Gar Cornavin. The beautiful lake in Geneva is just 30 steps away... The bar where you can have a late afternoon drink is so elegant. The hotel staff beginning from the bell-boy to the reception is so polite and attentive. I n case I will have another visit here in Geneva, I would like to stay here

Geneva was the last stop of our Swiss Vacation, and we were booked at Le Richemond for 2 nights. And Ohhhh boy !!! What an amazing experience we had at Le Richmond. The guys at the reception were all smiles, warm and friendly.....wonderfully efficient and showed lot of French style & flair.....truly charming. Just the perfect way to start our Holiday in Geneva. The Architecture of the hotel is Opulent, stylish and graceful, reflecting the essence of Geneva. It is situated close to Lake Geneva and the surroundings are beautiful and eye-pleasing. The location is absolutely perfect and all the major attractions are close by, and so are the piers to take boat rides. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and with lavish, well appointed and luxurious marbled bathroom. The bedding and the linen were spotlessly clean. The House keeping was super efficient and so discreet. Our only minor gripe was that the Breakfast menu at Le Jardin Restaurant had limited choices and was rather uninspiring. But this to me, was a very minor set-back.The staff though at Le Jardin showed the same warm and friendly attitude, as was seen, through out our stay in Le Richmond. Le Richmond has lots of good things going in its favor and ticks a lot right boxes.....right from the Location, Architecture, Rooms, House keeping....and truly exception Attitude from staff. Just the place I would love to stay. Just the perfect way to end our Swiss Vacation. Le Richemond......take a bow. Truly MAGNIFICENT.

One of the best hotels to stay at Geneva the service is amazing. Although is quite expensive the views that you have from your room are great. The restaurants and the bar are a great place after a long day working or visiting the city.

This was my first stay at the Richmond in Geneva and due to it being a business trip I did not have any opportunity to make use of the facilities of the hotel, solely the room. The reception team were warm and welcoming and I was fortunate enough to check into my room slightly ahead of check in time, and the team had paid attention to previous requests of being away from the lift and on a high floor. The room, an executive room, had a separate standalone shower (please note this is only from this category upwards), a small sofa and separate desk. The room was light and airy, the bed very comfortable and the air conditioning very quiet. In addition, the L'Occitane toiletries, were of good quality. Sadly I did not have time to enjoy a good breakfast but I did use the laundry service which was efficient and delivered a well pressed and clean shirt. Naturally, anyone visiting Switzerland and Geneva will comment on the prices, whether it is the room rates or the laundry or breakfast, and this felt slightly on the expensive side despite having lived in Switzerland for more than 14 years. The only other comment was in terms of the general maintenance of the room. Whilst it was immaculate and the air conditioning in perfect working order as well as very clean, certain parts of the furniture, tables and other areas were very clearly worn. Something you would expect of a Hilton but not of a 5 star deluxe hotel in the Dorchester Group. In my experience of other hotels in this price and status category, there would be a rolling renovation programme to ensure that these types of marks and wear and tear are never apparent. As I am engaging on a rolling review of hotels in Geneva, I may return to see what a renovated room looks like if there are some available in the correct price category. In summary, a warm, welcoming hotel, in a good location, an excellent night's sleep but marred by the wear and tear of the room which was not justified in the price category of this hotel.
