After reading the reviews for many of the hotels in this area of Geneva I selected Le Richemond for our stay in the city and I am so glad that I did. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for the terraces that some of the lake view rooms have. I reserved one of these rooms and was looking forward to enjoying the fresh air and view of the lake. Imagine our surprise when we were upgraded to an amazing suite with a large patio! We had room service every night so that we could enjoy the spectacular view with our meal. The room was comfortable, well appointed and a lovely place to relax. The towels were large and fluffy, there were numerous toiletries and the bed was comfortable. Monsieur Amarouche, the Maîre d'hôtel was such a delight. Always greeting us with a cheery good morning and of course remembering what we liked for breakfast. The staff in Le Jardin were all very cordial and met every need. In fact, staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful; front desk, concierge, room service and housekeeping, everyone we interacted with had a smile and saw to our needs quickly. The hotel is located in a wonderful location overlooking a small park and a view of the water jet. The walk along the lake is beautiful. You can walk to the old town to enjoy the cafes and shop. There are lake cruises and sightseeing tours just steps from the hotel. It was a perfect place to spend a few days in Geneva. Bravo to Monsieur Hitly and Madame Croisier for running such a top notch hotel. It was such a pleasure to stay at Le Richemond, I hope to return to Geneva next year and look forward to staying there again!

We have just spent the weekend at this lovely hotel. It was great! The position is excellent, next to the lake and a short walk from the shopping area. The hotel is well maintained with a feel of history. The public areas are extremely pleasant. We spent time in the bar which was very relaxing. The rooms are comfortable with really large luxurious bathrooms. All the staff were very attentive and friendly! We felt very well looked after, with attention to detail. I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in April. This is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff which really makes this a special hotel. Although there are very little amenities, no swimming pool and only one restaurant. The spa is beautiful but limited. The room was very nice but we did ask for a lake view and paid more for a better room but they were not able to help which was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. We thought that more could have even done as we were staying a week. We would have liked a coffee and tea facility in the room. This was not available. Hotel is very expensive, but Geneva is a very expensive place to stay. The hotel went the extra mile and made me a surprise birthday cake. Thank you for that.

Everything was great about our top-floor room with a large balcony and view of the park and lake, except for a pillar jutting into the room (702) that created a slightly cramped feeling. Great service and amazing breakfast included.

Le Richemond is one of best Hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in! Its right in the city close to the train station, bus station, river and shops - although I will say the shops are very high end. We had a very nice welcome from Martin at reception who explained everything and we felt like we were in a home away from home. The concierge was very helpful so a big thank you and especially to Julian who helped us every day during our stay with plans and excursions... if you need anything at all they are always there to help! Even though breakfast is early Pierre is always a delight and could always make us laugh. So really thank you so much to all the staff!! In-room dining menu and bar menu are divine... in fact we ordered the same thing twice. Calamari and Pesto pasta.. the best I ever had! Would recommend 100%
