Hotel President Wilson

I received a treatment at the spa on August 7th as a birthday gift from my husband, and it turned out to be a truly disappointing experience. The therapist arrived late, shortened the treatment, displayed unprofessional behavior, and even refused access to the shower, a glass of water, or the restroom afterward. This was already my second visit — the first one had been disappointing as well, but I wanted to give the spa another chance. Unfortunately, nothing improved. As a regular guest at high-end spas (Fairmont, Lausanne Palace, Four Seasons), I have never encountered such a lack of care and professionalism. I sent a detailed complaint by email, which has remained unanswered — quite unacceptable for a hotel of this standing.

The property is gorgeous rooms elegant but the service beats it all, the most accommodating I’ve experienced. I fell trying to go up a ramp and everyone showed up to assist. Fortunately I wasn’t severely injured. The location Good and food choices superb I would like to thank all of the staff for providing such exceptional care

I loved this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was well-organized and decorated, reminds me of my home. The comfortable mattress ensured a good night’s sleep. The staff are so friendly. The bathroom’s WC comes with water pump (Shattaf). It’s located opposite the lake, a 10-minute walk from the shopping area. Highly recommended.

The Wilson is one of the "famous" luxury hotels in Geneva but it neither lives up to its reputation or cost. The building is old, and it shows in the rooms, which are dated and worn. Service is mixed, from good to indifferent. The experience at breakfast is uniformly poor, based on several days there. For instance, having to ask repeatedly for coffee and getting an incomplete table setting. The ventilation in the breakfast restaurant is also poor so clothes smell of cooking. I would definitely stay elsewhere since there is no shortage of similarly priced hotels in Geneva.

We are 2 nights in to a 3 night stay and I am disappointed in this hotel. I booked a partial lake view room, and while yes, you can see the lake if you stand on your tippy toes in the corner of the window, it in no way represents the picture online. Worse then that tho was that someone had been smoking in our room. We asked to change rooms, and while they were able to so and could put us in an executive suite, there was no lake view at all. The bellman and front desk were friendly, but the housekeeping was subpar. Why do they only provide 2 bath towels for 2 people?? I asked housekeeping in the morning and they did not provide extras. I called an hour ago when I got to our room to request again and we are still waiting for them. Tho we are Titanium Marriott Bonvoy, there was no recognition of status, no welcome amenity, in fact they did not seem overly interested in our business. If we come back to Geneva, I would definitely make a different hotel choice
