Reviews for Hotel President Wilson
An absolutely terrible experience at this over priced hotel. Most of my ire stems from the deferential treatment that the wealthy receive here at everyone else's expense. We stayed in a room towards the end of the hall, and at the end of the hall was a suite. The first evening of our stay, upon returning to the room, I noted that the entire hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. The source was obvious. The door to the suite was wide open, a man sitting in a chair at the entrance and inside a number of people smoking. Note - the entire floor was supposed to by non-smoking. Signs posted clearly everywhere! I asked their man sitting at the door what was going on - long story short - he was working for a "prince" and sitting guard at the door. Not only did the hallway stink, but the smell was all over our room. I called the front to complain. To paraphrase, managements basically said that the guest in the suite pays more and can do whatever he want, so too bad for you. They offered to move us to a different room. Pathetic adherence to their own policies. Would never stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a business meeting. The rooms are not big but decent size. bathroom is also not big with shower over bath. For the price I would never stay in this hotel myself. but Geneva is very expensive for everything. Drinks at bar are ridiculously priced, a Gin and tonic Sfr 32!!!, a bottle of beer Sfr 14!! Breakfast was nice but I think the price would be Sfr 40-45 and taking that in consideration again overpriced. Pool area is big but a part of it is a restaurant and with functions as the one we were at it means no pool available for guests and a lot of noise if you have a room facing the pool. I would not be happy if I booked a room for a lot of money in that case. Would I stay here again, no not worth the price.

I have been staying at this property for many years. It is extremely well kept with friendly and very professional service. I strongly believe that this hotel should belong to the St. Regis group as most Luxury Collection hotels pale in service and maintenance to this hotel.
An exceptional hotel providing attention to detail with all facets of my stay. Room service went beyond my expectations as did the full buffet breakfast - I don't recall a better selection and the omelette made to order was one of the best!! The rooms were reasonably large with a turn down service & Swiss chocolates. The bottles of complimentary Evian water were also a plus. The Hermes bathroom soaps, lotions & shampoos topped it all off! Finally, the hotel provides an all encompassing transport card covering buses, trams, trains & ferries for the duration of the stay. I found the transport system easy to navigate; making my way to CERN & the United Nations etc.
The President Wilson is a beautiful hotel full of flowers and attentive, congenial employees. It is nicely located within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and sights, including the Lake Fountain and Ferris Wheel, etc. We will most likely stay there the next time we are in Geneva.
