This property would get 5 out of 5 from me, were it not for my experience at the pool. I went down for a late lunch by the pool - all of the covered areas were occupied except for one which had a reserved sign on it. I asked a server if I could sit there, she told me yes. I sat down and another staff member walked up and told me I needed to leave. I explained that the other woman said it was ok. He responded and said 'he's the manager so i needed to move'. I left - no one ever occupied the spot.

Every thing about Geneva is beautiful. The people are friendly; the city has interesting architecture; the city is host to many international organizations including the UN and Red Cross; good food; great coffee. All that and a fabulous view!

This highly luxurious hotel, is in an enviable position facing the lake, and close to a very large park. The hotel has several restaurants, and bars and in the summer they have bar service and a restaurant, open all day and into the evening, so lovely to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine, looking at the view. The breakfast again is of a very high standard, and you can sit with a lake view, and watch the people taking their morning exercise, or sit in the dining room itself. The design of the hotel's public spaces are such, than even when it is busy, and it was when we stayed, nowhere appears crowded. The rooms are very well appointed and maintained, with great bathroom amenities, which are generously replaced. We were fortunate to have an amazing room, on the 7th floor overlooking the lake, with one of the ( in my opinion) best views of the lake you can get. The walk into town is leisurely along the shores of the lake, plus there is a good and complementary public transport system should you require this. The hotel ticks all boxes for a city hotel, that is almost a resort, and a great place to enjoy a summer in Geneva.

It is very expensive - everything is extra. I was there for work so ordered room service - it was good food and very well executed but expensive. The service is wonderful and everyone who I interacted with was very pleasant and professional. The hotel and the restaurants are full of foreign dignitaries and business people - very interesting place to people watch. On a weekend, Geneva is not a very vibrant city so it was nice to be in a place where there was a lot of buzz.

The Woodrow Wilson, President Wilson hotel was spectacular. The architecture and design is absolutely fabulous the staff wonderful and attentive. Although it has a small gym it is enough to get a good workout. The Sunday brunch or something anyone would want to enjoy set up on the second floor above the street overlooking the lake next to the pool. I don't think there's anything that's not on the menu or in the buffet. The food was spectacular, the room was spacious, clean and very modern. The common areas were spectacular with the flowers and decorations everywhere.
