Just got back from The Leela , Goa after spending 5 days there...and already have withdrawal symptoms! Starting from the pickup at the airport to the drop off at the was a wonderful experience. The approach road to the resort is lush green and there are quaint Goan (? Portuguese) houses all along the way. The typical Leela way of welcome with garlands was finely honed and check-in was smooth (and as fast) as a Formula 1 Race Course...Princia and Indira were outstanding and a lot of the credit should go to Jitin, the Hospitality Executive. We stayed at the Lagoon Suite and the rooms were spick - and -span and Housekeeping would visit twice a day to ask if rooms needed some cleaning. The gym was well equipped with excellent trainers - Prakash and Vikas. Fortunately, none of the other guests seemed much interested in it felt like my own personal gym..! The spa was clean and fresh and Zoi did a wonderful job of rejuvenating our tired and fatigued bodies and minds. The breakfast spread at The Restaurant was humungous and lavish...only wish our stomachs had greater capacity so that we could have done more justice! Aldrin and Shalini were amazing and enriched the whole breakfast experience. Joachim at the Jamavar was so professional yet friendly and made us feel like we were dining in the comfort of our own home. Rajesh, the F& B Executive, runs a tight ship and ensures no stone is left unturned to make the guests feel special. Though we didn't really use them - the other facilities of the pool, the club- Aqua, the golf course and the lobby bar would definitely interest travellers who enjoy such things. The Italian restaurant - Riverside is a cute little place with romantic overtones. Several activities for kids are planned judiciously during the day so this is an ideal place to chill out for those with little kids. The check out is smooth as well and took us all of 30 seconds ! ...and Ovina played a big role in making it happen! All in all, this is a wonderful property which has it all..including its own private you can drink in Goa in all its splendour without even once stepping out of the resort. Would strongly recommend it to anyone who is planning to visit Goa. In fact, I am so glad we could not get bookings at our first choice hotel..The Lalit...else we would have missed out on this great resort...

Well came here few years ago and everything was just awesome. And no doubt its still one of the best properties I have been to. This time came with friends and kids. We booked rooms and a suite just to get to geather with all and kids. Specifically mailed and called them to keep them as close as possible but they gave it as far as possible. Again discussed with them about our problem but they were not able to resolve it. Ordered room service many times. Always food came in very very late and somethings even cold. Last night asked them to re-heat the food, but person didn't come for 30 mins. Called again and they said they will do it when your next order comes in. Asked housekeeping to clean the room while leaving for pool ,came back after 3 hours but was not done. Came later when we were in the room. So overall its an amazing property but I don't know of they are understaffed or something but this time they are lacking in the Hospitality they are known for.

This is an excellent property and has all the amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are several activities for kids and adults. There are indoor and outdoor games. The food is delicious, though over priced at times. The staff is courteous and helpful. The property is maintained very professionally. We have visited Goa several times. This experience was truly exceptional, different and enjoyable. We would love to keep coming to this resort again. One feels absolutely pampered. It starts as soon as you are received and lasts till your drop off at the airport.

Leela, Goa is located in south Goa which is the quieter part of Goa. The area around is dotted with houses, shops among lush greenery is winding roads. Leela has a large property which is nicely landscaped. All rooms are on the banks of artificially created water body with number of lotus blooms. Rooms are nice with all amenities one would expect in a luxury hotel. Hotel has a Gym, Sauna, Swimming Pool, Basket ball court and even a small golf green within. Adjacent Beach is clean & quiet with few people, either guests of Leela & Holiday Inn next door or locals, around. Food is very good, both in taste and spread. Breakfast had a wide spread and was also spread widely! We had to take a round over the large dining area to gather all that was on offer and then decide what to eat!! Staff is courteous, efficient and very helpful. We had planned our college reunion and I had sent mementos through courier to them in advance. They were handled with care and placed in individual rooms as per instructions. Ms. Indira, the duty manager, even reduced the cancellation charge for one of our friend who had to cancel at the last minute due to personal emergency. Overall an excellent place for business conventions and holiday with friends & family.

We had booked an early flight and had someone from Leela's to pick us up. Its an one hour drive from the airport to the property. This was our first time to South Goa, it is comparatively quite which is what we were looking for during this visit. We arrived at the property by 9:30 and since the check in was at 2:00 pm as per the site we were prepared to spend time at the lobby but the staff pleasantly surprised us by giving us early check in and we also got lucky since they had a room available. The check in process was pretty quick and went on smooth as we were waiting through this process we were offered tender coconut as welcome drink. The staff briefed us through all the facilities in the property. We were escorted to our room - we had booked the lagoon terrace room and i must say the room is nicely done up and very comfortable. The property has a private beach, of course you sometimes have locals walking by but that is something i saw just in one or two occasions and they didnt really bother you. The beach is definitely the best thing, early mornings it feels like you have the beach just for yourself and i just fell in love with the vast ocean. It is one of the best views and you could go by the beach even late night and it is safe since you have security from the property always available. The staff at the entire property are very cordial and wish you with a pleasant smile as you walk past them. We stayed at the property for 3 night and not a single day were bored. The property has so many activities planned and if that is of not your interest you could always spend time by the beach or by the pool. I am sure even if we extended our stay for a week we wouldnt be bored at the property. You have plenty of options for games - table tennis, chess, carom, snooker, & golf (this one is paid) The breakfast - its a vast spread and am sure anyone would find something that they love. I found quite a few things which i loved during our 3 day stay and i must say i wasnt bored of the spread during breakfast. We did try their dinner buffet once and again it is a vast spread but the day i tried their buffet i was tad disappointed with the dessert :( It was the monsoon time hence they were no beach shacks, however the closet restaurant if you would like to venture out of the property would be fisherman's wharf. If you are looking to spend your vacation by the beach and pampered come to the Leela's, you would not be disappointed with the choice. Highly recommend this place for honeymooners and also families who are looking for a break from all the hustle and bustle.
