St. Regis Goa.. you stole my heart! For the first time ever I booked and stayed at a Presidential Suite at any hotel.. and to say that it was super special would be a gross understatement! I have always liked the Marriott as a brand and they have to my mind.. been consistently synonymous with high quality and great service.. but then I came to spend a few days at the St. Regis in Goa.. and it been truly memorable! First of all.. they give you the warmest welcome ever with a complimentary airport pick up! David kindly offered us chilled water and a complimentary wi-fi password for the hour long drive from the airport to the hotel.. We were met by our dedicated butler Akhum Shubham and DJ all of whom had been chatting with me on a WhatsApp group a few days prior to the trip! They had requested and noted my dietary restrictions and bed linen preferences so the suite was perfectly prepared for our arrival.. Am not describing the suite in detail (some things are best as surprises) but it totally blew my mind!! The St. Regis all day dining restaurant Miri has a lovely vibe.. it is lively without being too noisy and the service is absolutely impeccable! Karan Rijol Aneesh Raghav Dhwani and Sujal ably led by Anuj are so prompt to the slightest turn of your head and always suggesting new and interesting dishes to taste and try! They gave us a dedicated table by the window every day which was a very kind gesture! What stood out was that they were as a team collectively super mindful about my allergies to dairy and rice and even came up with a delicious gluten-free dessert especially for me! Chef Akanksha took us completely under her wing and along with Chef Kevin gave us such delicious food that compelled us to ask for the recipes so we can tey to replicate them at home! Akhum is diminutive in size but huge on efficiency smiles and thoughtfulness.. she made the trip uniquely wonderful and her speech at the sabering on the beach was brilliant! Thank you for all the pampering! Shubham recommended a fantastic restaurant called Cavatina not too far away and that was a fabulous foodie evening too! Bharti Kunal Nikita Manju Sabita (and I forget one name) are superb with housekeeping.. the suite twinkles and sparkles everywhere and that's how it has to be.. well done! Thank you for the cute" leaf and towel art"! The spa should be renamed as the "Cloud Nine" spa because that is exactly where their masseuses transport you with perfect pressure and expert skill.. Daisy you are unforgettable! A special shoutout to Aldrin Yashwant and Sanford for always "being there" just when we needed them and always with the biggest smiles! DJ and Radhika kept a careful but subtle eye on us to make sure we were being looked after! We must have been asked at least 15 times a day if the food was alright.. the housekeeping was up to scratch.. whether we were comfortable or needed anything.. unreal! Team St. Regis.. hats off to you for hospitality that not only exceeded my expectations but knocked them right out of the park! God bless you all for being so incredibly understanding caring patient and having this unbelievable network where everyone knows everything that's happening with us! We look forward to a "floating breakfast" in the pool this morning and I am sure that will be something supremely unique and special too! Thank you to the General Manager Mr. Arun Vishnu who obviously leads by example and is an exceptional motivator guide and leader! Pallavi and Prerna at Reception were super helpful.. and apologies to everyone I haven't been able to name but please know that I have loved my time here with each one of you.. All of you collectively stolen my heart and it's going to be so difficult to say goodbye! God bless you for showing me magic every single day! This holiday has been my "bestest" one ever and will always be remembered for the very special people and the exceptional memories! The St. Regis Goa.. a "once in a lifetime" must do for sure!! Nobody does it like you guys and doubt if anyone else ever will! Cheers to you

We booked St. Regis Goa for my sister’s 25th marriage anniversary thinking it might elevate our memories, trusting its reputation as one of the best resorts in Goa. It’s on many people’s bucket list, including mine. Unfortunately, staying here was a mistake. On booking, we were told about their check‑in ritual but we were not even offered water, which immediately set the tone for the disappointing service that followed. From the very beginning, it was clear this is not a resort. It is primarily a high‑end wedding and seminar venue. The staff’s attention is overwhelmingly directed toward wedding parties and corporate guests, leaving regular visitors feeling neglected. The day we checked-in, there was a seminar going on and wedding guest has started to arrive. We had informed the team well in advance about our occasion. One of their female executives promised to celebrate it during the sundowner at Susegado with flowers and a cake. We waited at the beach at our table, reminded the staff multiple times to connect with her, but were told she was busy with other guests (wedding guests, of course) and would arrive in a few minutes. We even called but no answer. We waited for over an hour, but no one came with the agreed arrangements. Even basic conveniences like resort carts were unavailable. We had parents with us and walking in such a huge property was difficult for them. Despite informing staff 20–25 minutes ahead (which they themselves advise), carts arrived very rarely. Drivers would pass responsibility from one to another, creating a chain of excuses. And if you did manage to get a cart, they would sometimes refuse to take you because wedding or seminar guests were waiting elsewhere. Regular guests are treated as second‑class. At the restaurant, food was average at best. During dinner, most items on the menu at Miri and Oleveto were unavailable. Unlike most resorts where extra spending is billed to the room, here you are charged immediately, as if they fear guests might run away without paying. Honestly, given their service levels, they probably know people might want to. The swimming pool closes at 7:30 pm, which is another disappointment for anyone expecting a relaxing evening swim. It absolutely has the ability to be a great hotel with beautiful landscaping and I am sure the ground staff are putting their best foot forward . But due to the hotel’s greediness or incompetencies, they continue to allow guests to pay high prices for rooms even when the hotel is overrun by weddings and conferences. During our stay, we were a party of nine, and yet we were one of only 12-15 actual guests in the hotel who were not part of the wedding. They simply do not care and know exactly what is going on. They say "Let us improve and make it up to you" and you never hear from them again. When we raised these issues multiple times, they took it very casually and offered us lunch the next day, when we were already supposed to check out. We had initially wanted to book for two nights, but looking at the problems, I am thankful we did not get the booking for the second night. Overall, if you want to put yourself at the mercy of their staff, stay here. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration and choose a place where hospitality is genuinely about the guest experience. The only USP : Landscaping

We recently chose the St. Regis Goa for a family vacation. While there were some slight delays with the pre-arrival communication, everything from the moment we set foot on the property was phenomenal. The standout USP here is undoubtedly the St. Regis Butler Service. The head butler, Shubham and our butler, Rishin, both were exceptional. Shubham made sure everything was perfect right from the start. A special mention goes to Rishin, who went completely above and beyond, managing our minutest requirements with genuine warmth. Chef Kevin and the restaurant team were incredibly accommodating, especially making fresh dosas for our family whenever we requested them, making the trip so much easier. Ashok and the entire housekeeping staff also maintained our room perfectly. The food at Oliveto was amazing, and Taha, the restaurant manager, was a wonderful host who made our dining experience special. Beyond the staff, the property features a wonderfully maintained beach that was an absolute delight to spend time on. The on-ground staff are the true stars here and the reason we had such a wonderful vacation. Highly recommend!

It feels like living in a city within a city. Exhaustive range at breakfasts, lots of greenery which also includes a golf course. Very friendly staff who more than double your absolutely fantastic experience. White sand beach adds to the exotic experience. Cherry on the pie is their champagne ritual carried out on the beach every evening....don't give this a miss....
