Our stay at St Regis Goa was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff were very warm and welcoming, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for, often anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The initial room we were checked into, was noisy due to a fault in a fan? However our butler Rishin, organised an engineer to repair, and since this wasn’t possible, we were moved into another room. The hotel itself is breathtaking, calling it “beautiful” is an understatement. Our room had a view of the lagoon, and the grounds were very well maintained. There was a perfect mixture of luxury and tranquility. The restaurant staff were cheerful, attentive and genuinely eager to help. Their knowledge of each dish, and recommendations were spot on. The chef at Miri was very experienced, and would recommend/ make personalised meals which he thought you would like! The house keeping staff would make daily towel decorations and gifts, which was amazing to see! Overall we enjoyed the stay, and would be happy to visit again, it makes sense why this hotel has returning guests, who have been visiting for many years!

We have been coming to this hotel regularly during the winter in recent years and have found it a wonderful place to relax. While the location is amazing we feel it is the staff that make this hotel so special. In contrast to other reviewers I would not single out particular members for praise primarily because there are so many that it would be unfair to do so, as you would invariably omit someone deserving of mention. Suffice to say that this a very well run hotel, and each of the various service teams is tight knit and supportive of each other, led by experienced staff, whether it be administration, poolside, front desk, concierge or the restaurants. The staff really do go the extra mile to make your visit special, generally all you need to do is ask (and often you will not even have to ask - they will simply do things to enhance your stay on their own initiative) The recent programme of room refurbishment has worked well and our room was immaculately presented throughout our visit.

We had a very pleasant stay here at St Regis. We have been here many times before when it was The Leela and were a little bit skeptical when we first booked but we didn’t need to worry as the hotel lived up to the 5* standard. The rooms and cleanliness were spot on. Well done to the housekeeping team. The added bonus was the allocation of the butlers to each guest. Our butler Rishin Dey was very obliging. No job was too big or too small and was fulfilled with attention and a smile. Thank you Rishin. Keep up the good work. What can I say about the food and beverages. The variety and choices of different foods was impeccable. Chef Santosh and his team were excellent. The food was very tasty as always. I would like to mention one of the serving staff in the restaurant, Laxmi, she is the most sweet and pleasant person I have met. Well done Laxmi and always keep smiling. We will definitely be visiting again soon with family.

We really liked the hotel. Pros: 1. Huge territory: • A little island with a gazebo for yoga, where you can also feed rabbits, and there’s a kids’ area nearby. • A golf course and bicycles throughout the area. • There is a villa zone with its own park (which all guests can walk around). • Very beautiful plants, lagoons with lotuses all over the property, and employees who take care of the plants wear national costumes, which looks very atmospheric. 2. Beautiful interiors (I’m picky): • The entrance area is very fresh and trendy, with high-quality materials like marble, wood, and quartz. 3. Service: • We were immediately assigned a Russian-speaking manager who contacted us via WhatsApp and helped with everything, from filling out forms, booking massages/restaurants, to advice on where to buy tea. • The room was cleaned well. • On the beach, there is a call button on every lounge chair, sun creams, water, fruits, towels without any cards, and children’s toys and books. 4. Wonderful beach: • It’s wide with warm water (in the UAE, the water is like this at best in April). The hotel is located on the edge of the peninsula. Even though all beaches are public, it feels like you’re alone. If people enter the beach area, the security makes them leave. 5. Food: • We liked everything. • 40% of the food is for Europeans, and for kids, they prepare pasta for dinner, plus there’s always non-spicy chicken, salads, and a lot of fruit. • 60% is Indian food, spicy but tasty. • One day, there were fewer people, and dinner was à la carte. The hotel also gives one dinner in a restaurant (not in the buffet area). We chose the Italian restaurant, and they gave us a set of dishes as a gift. It was very delicious and atmospheric, and the chef was Italian.
