Had one of my best experience so far. This property has an enviable location that none can beat. I had booked a very short trip as a birthday surprise for my wife. When we arrived (5.5 hours late), a BMW 5 series was waiting for us (A big surprise for me ). Upon arriving, the receptionist who met us made the check-in process very seamless. We head straight to the restaurant for dinner. The buffet options are mind blowing and each dish tasted as it is prepared ala carte (most buffets do not taste as it would taste if ordered ala carte). The restaurant was full yet both me and my wife never felt that we are part of CROWD. We were made to feel special just like all other guests. I am a hotelier myself and let me tell you this is not easy but the team made it look easy. The buffet breakfast spread is also endless. It goes on and on. You need to ensure you have taken your time to see and try all cuisines. The room was extremely spacious and had a nice balcony which overlooked the lagoon. The amenities are all custom made for Leela and are fantastic. The bathroom is also very spacious. The resort has its own private beach which is rare in Goa (as I am told). This was meticulously maintained. It was very clean. The entire resort is spread out in such a way that even when the hotel is full (we were told hotel was nearly full) you cannot find other guests intruding your privacy. It had a very calm and serene feeling. You can rent your bicycle and move around entire resort. We had booked spa as well. My therapist (Pema I am guessing) was simply amazing. I had one of the best treatments. I was so relaxed that I slept immediately. They also have superb steam room and separate music menu to choose from for your treatment (!!) Upon departure, my wife was unwell and was feeling nauseated. I think the guest services manager saw this and immediately pulled out a private car for us (we had coach transfers for ourselves). This gesture we may think is very common but when given at a right time and with such efficiency, can have long lasting impact. My wife was in tears when leaving and I would like to thank each and every member of this resort who work tirelessly to achieve this.

Excellent hotel enjoyed every moment of it. Great sumptuous breakfast and dinner buffet. Lovely private beach. Lots of activities for kids to do. Very friendly staff Only negative being property is located in south goa whereas the main tourists hotspots are towards the central or north goa hence takes some time to travel

Spent a week in Goa with my fiance and another couple. My fiance is from India and I'm from the states. The Staff and Food were amazing. Cannot say enough about the service of these fine ladies and gentleman. The bar staff at the beach and pool became like a family. The chefs at both the beach restaurant and the main lobby restaurant are extremely talented and caring towards the guest. The calamari at the beach was the best ever! Chef would make it for me at the bar before the restaurant opened. What service!! The Goan style prawns were huge and perfect flavor. Thank you Chef! The whole staff know our names by the second day and were there with a smile and to help us have an amazing vacation. This place is beautiful and kept just perfect from the grounds to the golf course. However, you could take this staff and put them in a run down hotel with no beach and they would ensure you have a great trip. The breakfast bar was outstanding and you can find all flavors. We asked for Goan sausage and they had none at the resort. However, the chef at the beach had some delivered and he prepared it over a 24 hour period, then served it to us in the Indian restaurant, where he was not cooking at the time. We ate it all! It was to die for. What service. We loved the service, food and resort so much, we are having our wedding there in July. I'm flying several family members over from the states to enjoy the experience of The Leela Goa. The chefs spent a couple hours with us to help create a two day menu for the wedding and I cannot wait to eat! Thank you to the whole Leela staff and I will see you all soon, Randy

We had a very nice stay at the Leela, wonderful place with amazing views. We liked the fact that there was no plastic smile around. They helped us when needed. One disappointment was we were made to wait for almost an hour for the dinner order to arrive and the taste of the dinner ordered was not great at the Jamavar restaurant. Would recommend not to go for Ala carte menu. We had gone to the restaurant at 9 and it was almost 11 when we got done, the kid got really restless. Breakfast buffer was good but there could be more variations in the food between the days. The room ac could do a better job cooling the room. We had stayed in the Lagoon view room and it took a long time to cool the small room.

I have stayed at many resorts in India and abroad and i was particularly impressed by The Leela not only for the beautiful property and grounds but also the exceptional service i received. The staff at The Leela always went above and beyond in trying to make our stay a memorable one. I would like to specifically commend Stanley Braganza, who was always attentive to our needs and performed his role to the best of his ability. I also would like to mention Rajesh Rawat who was instrumental in the arrangements for our anniversary celebration. The attention to detail and meticulous planning was beyond our expectations. Mona, at the reception desk, whom we knew for a little while only also reached out to us to ensure that we stayed connected through the internet even after we checked out. She also made sure that we were picked up on time by the shuttle bus and taken to the airport. Mona actually stood at the entrance of The Leela resort to wave us goodbye. I would highly recommend The Leela to anyone visitng Goa. It is a unique experience and cannot be compared to any other. Thank you Leela!
