Most serene and warm place ...

Home away from home is the only word for ada hotel. The owner Mr.Sumengan is also a true amiable person. Kids will def love this place. Hospitality and food were also amazing. Sea view apartment should be in your list if going to Ada Hotel. You will get all help from Mr.Sumengen like local site seeing tips, dine out options, shopping places, bursa trips, cappadocia trips etc.

I cannot think of a hotel that I would recommend more highly than this small boutique establishment which is located in the Sultanhamet district of Istanbul. It is located within walking distance of the tourist highlights (Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Hagai Sopia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar). Dogan was the ultimate host - very friendly and helpful. During our travels around Turkey we stayed in the Ada Hotel 3 times. On each occasion our rooms were luxurious, extremely comfortable and impeccably clean. Breakfast was served on a scenic rooftop overlooking the Mamara Sea.. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Thank you to Dogan for making our stay so special!

Some of my fondest memories of Turkey are of the Ada Hotel. Sure the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul id fantastic, and the Princess Islands are as beautiful as one can imagine, but the Ada is truly one of a kind. Small, quaint, and tucked away it is true paradise. Granted, if you are looking to drink and party on the beach (think Bodrum) this is not the place for you, but if you want to spend time with the ones you love and make new friends the Ada Hotel is your answer.

We went to Ada Hotel 2 days ago just to have an insight view, and have a drink at the bar. Location: in the middle of nowhere, very far from the beach. Entrance: hidden. We passed by it twice before finding the door. Inside: a gloomy atmosphere. You have the impression of entering into a haunted house, confirmed by the fact that there is ABSOLUTELY no client at this hotel by mid September. Decoration: false roccoco. Everything is Disney like, made quickly, with poor material. The Hammam was closed but we were told that it could be booked in advance. The simple idea of the 2 of us spending 2-3 hours alone in this gloomy overpriced hotel made us mad. You have the overall impression that you disturb the staff who is busy doing... nothing! We left the place without even taking the time for a drink. We headed to Mackazi Hotel which is as expensive but is of international style and has a very cool atmosphere. I felt obliged to write this comment in order to avoid some of you guys coming from very far to find yourself in this sad place.
