Cristina the bartender at St.june one of the best I have ever met. Stopped yesterday to see her she was part of the IHG FAIMILY and we miss her at the bar, and we stopped to see her and it was so nice to see a smiling face again. While we were there we got to meet her BOSS, Brendan and he was amazing . We will be returning. B

Best hotel in the world!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

By far my favourite hotel. I’ve stayed here a few times for work and it’s always such a pleasure to return. The best part about this hotel is the staff and service. Shout out to Federico in the events team who is the best. Danny at the pool bar, Mohammed in the events team, Puja in housekeeping, the entire beach and pool teams, the restaurant Seven team and so many more - you are all amazing and you make such a difference. I also love all the restaurants here, especially Seven and Andiamo. Also, best Pina Colada you’ll ever find. Thank you again for another unforgettable stay!

Beach is perfect, service needs some improvement

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We visited this property in April 2024. Pros: The property is beautiful and the location is perfect. beach is pristine- very clean with gorgeous blue water. The staff is very friendly and attentive for the most part. The hotel was not that busy because the main spring break week was the week before. There are several restaurants on the property as well as a small store that has quick takeaway food, Which we frequented because my daughters are light eaters. Beach chairs are included, which is nice. There are also floats in the ocean, which we really enjoyed. Cons: The hotel was fairly empty and upon arrival, despite being a Bonvoy gold elite member, I was not offered any upgrade to my room. My impression was that the hotel was understaffed during the week that we were there. For example, thwere two big conferences at the hotel that week, and it felt as if those were the main event events and we were secondary. The pools were open until 10 PM but there was nobody available and they take all of the towels away at 5pm (even when there are people in the pool). When I asked for towels, I was told they were all in the laundry which was clearly a lie. There were people at the bar and there was staff there and we were swimming, but we were not ordering any alcohol so to me it felt that we were invisible. I told the front desk about this and the manager called me promptly which I appreciated. She wanted to give my two daughters a small gift before we left which was a nice gesture, but the gifts were toys for small kids and my daughter are teenagers. We spent a lot of time at the pool and we were not approached about ordering food or drinks- a few times I did order food. I had to walk up to the restaurant and ask for a menu. Again, as a single single mother with two teenage daughters, I felt a little invisible. We were always asked if there was anyone else joining us. Maybe the staff was waiting for my husband to arrive? Lol. I’ve stayed at other Ritz properties and the service at this one needs a little improvement for these reasons.

True luxury on a goth beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is legit luxury. The service is incredible. The food is outrageous. The drinks are excellent. The room service is good. The rooms were renovated in 2020 and they’re gorgeous and well maintained. My room was cleaned by 10 am. The beach is gorgeous and the pools are super clean. The chairs are close together but they’re comfortable and in great condition. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Expected more

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This hotel is nice, but for $2000 a night, I didn't expect to be crowded into a long line of side-by-side chairs at the beach, similar to what you'd find at a budget Caribbean resort. We ended up paying an additional $700 a day for a beach bed. The Ritz no longer lives up to its name. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very friendly, but the food and other amenities felt a bit outdated. Next time, we'll stay at the Four Seasons for true luxury.
