the hotel is nice, and for the most part very clean. However many of the rooms are VERY dated and need attention. Our shower head leaked really bad and the ceiling had cracks in it, showing sings of age. All in all its nice, just expensive for what it is. My biggest complaint is how the hotel allows the nasty smokers to stand so close to the entrance and smoke, making it awful for those of us that actually care about our health to avoid the stink and fumes. its gross......if people wanna smoke, make them stand across the street.

We stayed after July 4 for the annual Grand Session of Job's Daughters. We had 4 people booked in the room yet there was only 1 coffee cup. When we asked the housekeeper for more, we were told that only 2 people are in a room because there were 2 beds. The formal banquet was just ok. The chicken cordon blue tasted like warmed up frozen food

I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless you want to feel belittled and hassled. We brought a baby and had lots of luggage, while loading and unloading, not one single person offered to help. The one bellman that did come over said, you can do it yourself. We ordered room service and the person that delivered our meal told Us that we could tip him With cash. I told him I only had $1, and was going to leave a tip on the card. Mind you, they already get a $3.00 delivery charge and 22% service charge. His response was that we could Give him the cash we had and leave him a tip on the card. We had to ask 3 people where the pool was and they all said 4th floor, yet they failed to mention that there were two different 4th floors. I can't believe the rooms did not have a refrigerator and/or microwave. Get with the times! Don't worry, we could pay for one at an additional charge. I will never stay at this hotel again!

This hotel has everything for the entire family. We made our way to our amazing suite on the 11 th floor with an outstanding view of the entire city . We headed to the riverfront patio to enjoy refreshments and plan our stay . We visited the delightful stores on the main floor . The fitness center welcomes all ages with a beautiful indoor pool , hot tub, tennis courts , exercise equipment and plenty of lounge chairs . We grabbed a nice coffee at the on- site Starbucks . That evening we had a wide variety of places at which we could enjoy a night cap. . The grand lobby is worth a photo or two.

We stayed here for work conference. The rooms are huge, and i like the split bathroom with counter and mirrors separated from shower room. Its convenient walking to everything; breweries, restaurants, museums, riverfront. But like other reviewers noted, the a/c in the room is spotty. Sometimes it was cool, sometimes not. I worked in my room some and i propped open my door to enjoy the cold a/c from the hallway. Another odd thing was the local tv channels were all pixelated, but cable channels were fine. Anytime you stay in an older hotel its like spinning the wheel. I hear the tower side is nice with views of the river. Its a charming hotel, but I would probably stay somewhere more modern next time. The staff has all been very nice.
