Great location. Breathtaking views and grounds. The resort itself is very cosy and relaxing. Best service at Bahamas. We stayed at Atlantis, O&O, visited Harbour Island, so can compare. Beautiful beaches, pool, SPA and gym. Nice restaurant. The menu is small but the quality of food and drinks is very good. Many thanks for all the team. Special thanks to F&B Manager Mr Kezang Dorji for being very professional and just a very nice and lovely person. Highly recommended. We'll definitely come back. Already miss you guys!

Just back from a ten day R&R vacation at The Cove. What we LOVED: Perfect quiet location. Far from the crowds and bustle, like Harbour Island and Paradise Island. We always stay away from huge all-inclusive resorts, and much prefer the small boutique hotels, where staff know their guests. The two beaches were just perfect for swimming, SUP, kayak, snorkeling. The bay made it more intimate. Water was so clear, it was heaven! Food was very good, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar at the tip of the resort was great for sunsets and end-of-day or pre-dinner cocktails. WiFi was great, all the way to the beach too!¸ Service was always amazing, from the reception to the beach! Everyone was always helpful, smiling and attentive. All the managers were there every day, talking with each and everyone of us. Why the almost perfect review: Bed was comfortable, but we've had so much better. Loved the scandinavian look and bare decor, but lacked shelves and/or furniture to make it convenient. Little storage place. We had a Queen room, and it was so small, no way we would have stayed there ten days! We travel to Europe every year, and have never had such a small bathroom sink. Ever! You couldn't wash your face or brush your teeth without splashing water everyone around the sink! The entire room and bathroom were just way too small for two people. Even if we spent our days at the beach, when we were in the room, it was not bearable. Upgraded to a King room, and it was much better. The room concept itself. Patio slidding doors. So no intimicy if you're on the ground floor or anywhere but ocean front. So curtains were always drawn. It can feel claustrophobic at times. No black out curtains. Not great if you need to catch up on sleep. The all white curtains made it impossible to sleep in as soon as the sun was up. Service at breakfast was always the slowest of all meals. Although on vacation, and not pressed with time, the wait could sometimes be way too long. Would have liked a few more health conscious meal options. More salads, soups, fruits, vegetable sides. Freshly squeeze juices would have been nice. Although it is written on the menu, it is boxed juices. That means lots of sugar! We wanted a cheese platter one night, to finish our wine, as we don't have a sweet tooth. It isn't on the menu, but it is on the picnic menu. Staff was great to propose it! A bit of ambiant music would have been nice. There were days that music was playing at the Gregory Town Grill, but not on a regular basis. Music at the sunset bar was nice however. Overall: This is an old resort, revamped. It shows. Lacked a few attention to detail. But not a big deal. We notice because we travel, a lot. New management has been there for two years. Would definitely come back, but will get an Beach Front room, as the view is just amazing. And no need to close al the curtains all the time. Loved the free bikes! Expect to spend a lot of money. A side of three slices of bacon costs $6US! If you want long beach stroll, this is not the place for you. If you want all day music and entertainment, this is not the place for you. But, if you want to enjoy a great vacation, where staff pays attention to their patrons, where the beach is beautiful, great food (not much options around town...)...this is the place!

If you are looking for a small and peaceful Caribbean vacation, this resort is perfect. Views are incredible, rooms very comfortable. There is only one problem: the cost of food is ridiculous. Drinks $18, breakfast $80, dinner $200 (for two). Prepare yourself for daily $350 for food and couple drinks.

We stayed for a friends wedding. To keep it simple, here are our ratings. Views and feel - 4 stars Gorgeous location. Peaceful. Architecture is great. Beach is full of sharp shells and coral/rocks cover the first 10' of the waterline. Value - 2 stars. Room rates are fine. Drinks and food are so expensive. The service makes "island time" feel brisk. I felt ripped off, not because of the price but because for the price there was not much reward for my investment. Room - 1.5 stars Bed is really great. But.... You'll live off the floor as there is no furniture to store your cloths. Sink is too small to use. Shower is tiny. No place to put anything, our room looks like a college dorm room after 3 days. Outside lights cannot be switched off, it's daylight at 2:30am. Stay away from bungalows as they look upon steel shipping containers used for storage. This was the most disaponing part for us. Food quality - 3.5 stars Lunch was great, but very expensive. $23 for a burger. Drinks are insanely priced, $12 for a domestic beer? $22 for a frozen drink. $50-60 each for anything at dinner. They forgot my dinner meal, then it came out under cooked. For $60 per person for food alone, I'd expect much better. Staff friendliness - 5 stars They have a 10' rule for sure so everyone say hello as you pass them, and they are friendly. Intentions are good. Service quality - 2.5 stars Slower than slow. It's 30 min for a drink at the pool, after waiting 15 for someone to address you. And, the staff:guest ratio is great so how's this possible? I spoke with the GM at dinner about room concerns, he could care less. Summary; there are too many other great hotels and locations at this price point to ever choose this one again

Just returned from a quick four night stay at The Cove. Enjoyed it very much. Stayed in a Master Cove Suite which was just feet from the beach. Very "spartan ", "zen", clean and beautiful. Plenty of beach lounges at all hours although not much shade. Service at the beach very good despite some other reviews I have read. Seems as though there is a very high staff to guest ratio. Food at the resort was very good although limited in scope. Rented a car one day and went "off campus" for dinner twice. There are a very limited amount of good places to eat outside of the hotel. Eleuthera is a very narrow island but it is over 100 miles long so even with a rental car your travel distances, especially for dinner are limited. If you are looking for a quiet, beach vacation, this is the place for you! My wife and I would return without hesitation. Say hello to Coconut!
