One of the best hotel properties I have ever seen. Hidden away in the forest surrounded by wildlife, but with 5 star accommodation service, food and facilities. The pool settings are spectacular and the private beach that you can access by boat is unreal!

We had heard so many wonderful things about going on vacation in Costa Rica. So many resorts to choose from! We are so glad we chose the Andaz The real key to the success of our vacation was a wonderful employee named Georgiana, who facilitated our move to the club suites. My wife and I have never stayed at such an elegant suite , I think the bathroom may have been bigger than most of the Hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Room service arrived promptly 8 AM every morning with a pot of the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had in my life and croissants. As we drank our coffee on the humongous balcony. (that even had a bathtub on it) Howler Monkeys would come swinging by the trees on their way to breakfast. Like 70 monkeys. Our rainforest day, La leona waterfall and jetski tours was everything we asked for and more. We decided to book some tours with nomadtourscr after asking around and checking out availability and pricing. Gabriel was able to provide us with a private tour with whatever we felt like doing for an excellent price. Our driver was right on time, very professional, and it was really nice having a private tour with just us in the vehicle. We got the experience we were hoping for and highly recommend Gabriel for any off resort tours.  I can honestly say that we had the best experience in Costa Rica thanks to the wonderful service from this hotel!!

The Andaz was wonderful. Amazing service, fantastic pools and great food, and a welcoming place to spend time while in Costa Rica. Perched up the hill with views of the harbor and surrounded by lush landscaping the Andaz was a virtual garden of Eden.

I stayed here to celebrate a birthday, and everything about Peninsula Papagayo exceeded what I had read online. The Andaz specifically was the perfect match of design and natural Costa Rica landscape with a luxury feel. We absolutely loved the new beach club, only accessible from the resort every 30 minutes via speed boat. Monkeys joined us on the beach both days we were there, and it was such a special experience! Dinner at Chao Pescao was superb (the cocktails included), and breakfast at Ostra was a wonderful start to the day, with the buffet brought table side. The golf cart service to and from the rooms was much appreciated. And the design of the Andaz, like their other locations, was modern meets earthy and style-wise such a nice change from many other nice resorts that feel stuffy. The food at the beach club could use some improvement (our steak skewer was super overcooked and the chicken was rubbery). And the service was not up to par for a five-star hotel, often super delayed on requests we'd send over WhatsApp or even email before the stay, and when we would request a ride to our car, valet always seemed confused and it would take an additional 15 minute of waiting, dripping in sweat for our car to come. Just a bit disorganized. But even with these small complaints, I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. My boyfriend and I both agreed we could easily stay for a week and not get tired of it!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort. Everything was immaculately clean, the food was excellent, and the customer service exceeded our expectations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it
