Reviews for Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa

An incredible experience, like nothing I've experienced before!

We just returned from 7 days at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa and it was such an amazing experience! From the moment we stepped off the boat we felt pampered. We have visited a handful of Hyatt properties throughout the Caribbean, but nothing compared to this experience. Our guest services liasons (Shahum and Zac) anticipated our needs and answered every question we had, while Kartikeya ensured our dining experiences were unparalleled. We stayed most of the team in a beach villa with our last two nights in an overwater villa. The rooms were so beautiful and spotless. I have never felt such privacy in a hotel as our time in the beach villa. Each villa has its own path from the main island loop as well as to the beach, so we saw no one near our villa unless they were coming to clean the room. The combination of total privacy with floor-to-ceiling windows simply cannot be overstated - it was perfect! The reef was so much fun. We went snorkeling every day, and saw so many incredible things. The view of the outer edge of the reef, where it drops off into open ocean was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Even after 7 days, that reef did not get old! We had so much good food while we were there. We aren't usually big morning eaters, but several staff members suggested we try the breakfast buffet and we were hooked once we did. There's so much good stuff just in the buffet, and even more good stuff on the menu! Every meal we had was impressive. We even did a cooking class and had so much fun preparing an Indian dinner.

My second visit in Park Hyatt Maldives. And not the last. This is the best hotel and spot in Maldives definitely. I'm visiting Maldives since 1997 and I strongly recommend this amazing resort. 1. People: warm and really careful: Mr Ahmed from housekeeping Akram and Mrs Sherry our hosts Mr Fernando and Mr Nischol from food and beverages Mr Pawar-Leo Messi behind the bar and all of people who received us the way we never was received! Thank you guys from bottom of ours hearts 🙏 2. Accommodations: amazing high class villas hidden in beautiful gardens. 3. Food: excellent! 4. Pool: 30 m excellence (perfect for swimming) 5. Domestic reef: 360° underwater paradise! Welcome to the world of 100% alive coral system and all amazing views. Thanks to the family that owns the island the nature there is untouched. We will be back!

We arrived at this hotel and were blown away by the beauty of the area. We stayed in an over the water bungalow, and the reef was active and alive all around us. We were able to snorkel directly below the bungalow. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. They made our stay very special and deserve the real recognition for making our stay so exceptional. The restaurant and bar manager Avnish, Sandeep the chef, and Shubankar the barman went above and beyond, with care and attention to detail regarding the food and drinks. The hotel in its current state is ideal for couples, and adults, but slightly less so for kids. Would highly recommend for a visit.

Outstanding

We chose this resort for a) having an excellent house reef; b) as a peaceful place, where one can relax, and c) good service -- and we were not disappointed. The moment we landed in Male, we felt that we were in good hands, and the transport to the island, however long, was well organized. Overwater villa was lovely, minimalistic in decor, but still with the feel of luxury. There is enough distance between the villas to preserve privacy. Not only they were impeccably cleaned every day, at a turndown service in the evening we received a local dessert, with a note explaining what it was. Very nice touch. And tasty, too. The food was varying from good to excellent (yes, limited choice, yes, very expensive, but one probably knows this before coming to any resort here). Breakfast was rather modest, however it provided enough for various palates. We preferred local/Asian dishes on offer, and our absolute favourite was “mas huni”. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient, but special thanks go to: - Krishna, when he was in charge of the bar the service and atmosphere were top notch, - to Shahum, our dedicated contact on the island, who took care of everything seamlessly, so we could be worry free, and last but not least, to the Spa Team, who were simply amazing. And of course, snorkeling on the house reef… Because of the reviews we had high expectations, which were even exceeded. Beautiful fish of all kind imaginable, rays, reef sharks, turtle… Live coral of various shapes and colours. Most of the time we snorkeled adjacent to our villa, because there was no need to go anywhere else. On top of that, when resting on the terrace, dolphins swam by several times. Am still editing my Go-Pro videos, there is so much material… All in all, a fantastic stay. Suggestions - the deck of the villa is open space which looks nice, but due to the lounges it gets very narrow as well. It can be dangerous, especially in the evening (sharp corals are directly underneath). It would be nice to have some sort of guard rail for protection, just like at the entrance to the villa. - the deck is in the afternoon in full sun – some option of a shadow would be welcome.

Paradise Found: A Journey of Care and Comfort at Park Hyatt Hadahaa

As many have noted, the journey to the island is indeed an adventure, but once there, all stress dissipates. There was a team of staff handling each transfer of arrivals to departures. They made the transfers as painless as possible. A standout example was our departure, where the staff member overseeing our boat ride and flight from Kooddoo to Male went above and beyond. Recognizing the scarcity of drinking water during Ramadan at Kooddoo Airport, he swiftly arranged several bottles for departing guests, demonstrating the hotel's commitment to customer care and its staff's resourcefulness. We were fortunate to stay in both a beach pool villa and an overwater pool villa, both of which were equally delightful. I recommend experiencing both if possible. Contrary to some feedback, the villas and facilities are impeccably maintained, with no signs of age. Weather was humid and hot (even in April), but the ocean and pools provided refreshing relief with water temperatures remaining comfortably warm throughout. Globalist recognition was exceptional - room upgrade, bottled drinking water (for all guests), daily complimentary breakfast and happy hour were provided. The island has amazing white sandy beaches, and house reefs were absolutely stunning. The hotel also provides high quality complimentary snorkeling gears for every guest. For those curious about the inner workings of the hotel, a tour of the back house offers a fascinating glimpse into its operations and staff accommodations. During our tour, we discovered that the island's fresh water, including drinking water, is sourced through the innovative process of desalination, where ocean water is purified to meet drinking standards. Additionally, it was enlightening to learn that the hotel utilizes solar panels to generate more than 40% of its electricity, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. The presence of a complimentary in-house clinic, overseen by the skilled Dr. Arun, was a reassuring feature of our stay. Dr. Arun's successfully addressed a stomach issue I encountered during my time at the hotel. Many thanks to Dr. Arun for his excellent care and professionalism. During the property's 13th Anniversary celebration, we had the pleasure of meeting the entire management team, who were regularly visible and approachable throughout our stay. They welcomed feedback and swiftly addressed any concerns. Special recognition goes to F&B Director Fernando and Front Desk Manager Asim, whose professionalism and leadership were exemplary. Fernando ensured every guest felt at home, leading a responsive and top-notch team. The food and beverage offerings were outstanding, with impeccable service. Asim was consistently professional and attentive. Akram, our host, also deserves gratitude for his professionalism. These individuals truly enhance the hotel and Hyatt Group's reputation. We will be back!
