Situated on the cliff overlooking Half Moon bay, the Ritz Carlton has the most incredible views! Relax by the firepits and watch the waves splash or walk down the nearby stairs to the beach. Year round this is an amazing place. Dog friendly.

First let me say that we are RC fans, the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay did not disappoint. While we were only here for once night we made the most of our 18 hours on property. We loved the Ocean Terrace with it's pop-up bar and fire pits, Navio was a nice restaurant although we were disappointed that the Conservatory was still under construction. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and the staff handled everything extremely well. The front desk, housekeeping and bell staff were exceptional. The only negative we would like to mention is it seemed there were a lot of people on property that were not staying at the hotel, we found this to be the case while out on the Ocean Terrace watching others fight for Adirondack lounge chairs with locals. The bagpipe sunset ceremony is a nice touch to be enjoyed. Keep up the great job, we will be back!

Stayed for three nights at this wonderful location next to the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely everything was perfect with this hotel. Staff super nice. Food and drinks tasted awesome. Large rooms well maintained and fantastic interior design. I really hope I will have a chance to get back to this place again in the future.

With little open on Christmas Day we decided to slow down our drive to the central CA coast and splurged on dinner at The Ritz. It was a 6 course meal with wine paring and everything was delicious! Portion sizes were generous as well. We arrived early to take in the sunset on the outdoor patio but were bummed we missed the bag pipers. This property is stunning with an exceptional view both up/down the coast. The meal was pricy at $250 per person (with the wine paring) but everything was top notch from the flatware, napkins, Christmas decorations, food, service etc.

Of course the hotel has every luxury. The location sets it apart. My wife and I spent most of our free time on the deck and by the fire pits. Beautiful private costal views along with amazing views of the emerald green and miticulus golf course. This is one of our favorite places.
